Secret to Board Collector Achievement

I don't know if this is old new .But I too was having trouble with the Board Collector achievement.I had completed the game 100% ,found everything.But Board Collector never popped .And I was missing three boards. I check the forums and found I wasn't alone .I was about to replay the whole thing over again,when my 4 year was playing and said she got a board ,Well that was odd I thought and excited I didn't have to play it again. So I knew something made the boards trigger,But what did she do to unlock the missing board ?

Well the secret is the Gates . Each section requires a set of gates you need to go through. If done right you get a shell or trophy AND a board. But sometimes the board won't pop even if you get all the gates .Just replay the level for which board your missing and get the requires gates again .And the board will be rewarded. The boards are rewarded in order .And they are NOT random .Each section unlocks a specific board.

this ache is annoying as hell, I'm having to go through the story again because I don't have any boards unlocked (unsure why, maybe because I used the all boards cheat) even though I have like 910GS and only need this and the surf idols ache. anyway, I've gone through the story again up until unlocking boneyards but at which point do you unlock the nirvana board because it;s the last I need?

why is it whnever I rent a game for a quick, easy 1k I always run into some kind of BS and it ends up being a long(er), frustrating 1k

Do you know how many boards there are, and what board applies to what 'section' (which I don't know what you mean by "section") Do you mean each 'level'?

Please let us know a bit more specific if you can. It would be a big help since you're the only one so far that seams to have figured this out somewhat.
