He lives in Quebec, not Canada. There's a difference. Still, maybe he is in a gang, who knows?

Anyway, I think this game looks pretty damn good, it definitely had a high budget available. The voice acting and amount of macho 50-ness will get annoying, but that doesn't make it a bad game.

A lot of hate on the 50 Cent BIS board. The reason that this game is getting bad rep is because the 50 Cent game back on PS2 was complete garbage. The only people that played it were die hard 50 Cent fans. I'll check the game out, if it's good I'll play it for sure beginning to end, if not, then it will get returned to gamefly. Also on another note, anyone that is trying to claim gangster or gangsta, whatever you prefer. Look what you are doing. You are posting on an achievement gaming site, that is not too G if you catch my drift.

haha, yeah I know about the high school BS. I don't know though, 50 Cent does suck as a musician but if this game has easy achievements, you can bet on it selling a lot of copies or at least get rented a lot.

This game was way better than Street Fighter IV. I picked both up at the same time and was completely disappointed in Street Fighter. It was the same game with a few new perks, but the worst thing about the game is that the difficulty setting was seriously flawed. I played on the easiest setting, got to the last boss, Seth, without a problem and all of a sudden he's been boosted up to the hardest difficulty.
Now, I don't consider myself to be bad at fighting games. I'm actually pretty good. But this street fighter game pissed me off to no end

back to topic this game is great fun and if you are not a fan of 50 just goto the options and turn off the music and you can enjoy the game without the "noise"

Rusty is right, Maxim isn't a gamer's mag. They are just magazine sized ad. They don't review things, they just reprint print ad copy. Even some of their music reviews have been proven bogus, like the time they reviewed a Black Crowes album that wasn't even out yet.

Why someone would review a Black Crowes album period is beyond me, but to go to the point of making up a review? Yeah, ... I'd trust their reviews.

The game is pretty fun. Reminds me a lot of the fun I had playing the first Mercenaries game for Xbox. Not a technical masterpiece, but it does what of other games don't seem to, entertain.

Lol, this thread is full of win.

But to the point of the topic, it's really silly that Maxim rates games. Now I haven't played Killzone 2 because I don't have a PS3 but I have played SF4. I just sent it back to GameFly too after getting 740/1000 in it.

And guess what? This game is coming next!

So we'll see how it is, but regardless it'll be going back pretty soon. I want to play it for the comedy value and the solid achievements they say it has. Personally, I enjoy hip-hop music very much. However, I hate 50 Cent's music and while I know his music is all throughout this game, I don't care really.

IGN gave it a 7.1, which ain't bad at all. Looks like The Club if it tried harder. I'll definitely pick this game up soon and enjoy it as IGN put it 'The Guilty Pleasure Game of the Year'. lol
