Help! - Race Week resurrection signup

We have worked with EA to turn this achievement back on but after a long time of false hope and broken promises their community managers never delivered, even with a xbox.com thread open for an entire year and hundreds of signups asking for the achievement to be enabled.

We are working with the EA community rep(EA Torque) to get this achievement turned back on. Current outlook is hopefully by the end of the year, but we need your help --

yeah, they need to get a race week back on also they need some ea moderators back on so we can get that achievement because without them we cant get 3 achievements - race week, ea moderator and the reward card hustler. when 1 achievement is already glitched its a bit shit that we now cant get 4 of them thats 145 points we are being robbed of. come on ea sort it out

I already got it back in 2006 but I'll sign up as I believe they (EA) should let other gets it. Dated achievements should be banned altogether I say...

You can still get the mod achievement, I just got it last week from EA Torque. There is a thread on the xbox.com forums where you can sign-up (click here). It's best to just message him over XBL though. If you do message him on a Friday (US East Coats time) as that's when he helps people.

Also, EA aren't making anyone else Carbon mods, Torque is the only one in the world.

Last word is that since EA Black Box is working on the Undercover patch, this is low priority/not going to happen for now. Once that comes out hopefully we can get it turned on. I surf the xbox.com forum daily to check on it, I will message everyone that posted either there or any of the forums I posted this type of thread asking for help to let them know.

yeah im down for EA to help us out with some achievements, i mean its the least they could do since so many of their other games are glitched

Here's the deal guys. EATorque has said he has tried hosting a community day for this game but EA shut the tool down for him that activates it. When he tried contacting them about it, they said that no more race days will be created therefore the tool not being there. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

^^^ How recent is that information. Because I have a post from 12.18.08 with Torque saying that race week is still possible. Numerous post prior he said that the tools are working and this is just a matter of time. Take a look 4 posts down on this page.

Yeah I totally agree that this game is the glitchiest poorest game ever made! (smackdown vs raw 2007, coming a cose second due to then cosing down the servers on the 30th Jan!)

If EA couldnt be committed into helping people getting the achievements online on one game, just think what they would be like 3 years down the ine when they bring out two more ones?

Will EA screw up again by not letting people get achievements on Pro Street?

Sort it out EA, you are hanging on by a thread as the only good sport/racing games you have made are NFS and FIFA!

Sort it out before you lose customers and go into administration!

EA Black Box got shut down basically and it's not known whether anybody left that is responsible for the servers knows how to turn this achievement on. EA Torque is the only contact we have, nobody else at EA cares about this. It seems he has limited ability to get anyone there to do anything. It has been a couple months since his quote below, and ProStreet community days haven't come back either. Keep the signups coming, but as always, no promises.

You are right and definately deserve a straight answer. Unfortunately I am not able to give a comment, not knowing much of what's going on with the fate of Carbon myself. As soon as I know, you'll know.

Guys, you have to understand that EA moderates are "EA moderates" for a reason, and quite frankly they probably don't give a damn about our achievements. common guys. the whole idea of achievements is a complete joke to them and since that they have being bugged about the achievement for 2 almost 3 years now. lets just say that the achievement is near impossible now

Personally i think microsoft should update it's agreement with developers

if EA enjoy closing servers they shud open a different 1 that they've shut down every week or so, so every1 still has a chance to play the games online and get the chieves then its nt as bad as shuttin them down completely!

OK....i`ve really had it....EA doesn`t give a rats ass about the community...the only thing they care about is publishing new titles....like 1) Pro street 2) undercover 3) shift.... the first 2 totally sucked....i`m not sure what shift looks like but i`m pretty sure that it`s gonna suck aswell....seriously STOP releasing crappy games and fix the ones that are good....NFS primetime really was Most Wanted and Carbon...

People we really need to make some noise about this problem....cuz obviosly posting in this thread will not make any difference....

My idea is to start sending EA HQ spam emalis...and threaten them that we are not going to buy any new NFS games before a patch is made to fix the problems in the prvious games...People...a widespread boycott is the only thing taht could help right now....cuz all other measures have failed!!!!

soo....anyone know any e-mails of people that work in EA that could actually make any difference...and please leave out EA torque and all the other "community managers" ....cuz as i understand, their hands are tied....we need someone on a higher stand...
