This achievement is unlocked by getting at least 50,000 stars and 100 of the each badge type there is. There are 6 different badge types to collect. See '500x Medalist!' for medal breakdown. (Thanks to OldWIKI TIK & FlamedLiquid for this)

On the guide on the main site, it says you need 50,000 medals. I think you should resubmit this achievement because that's a huge difference

Do you not then have to make sure each one is ticked so that it appears in your list of available songs to sing?

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes they are all selected and appear in the SING menu. It shows that I have 341 songs. Hopefully this achievement isn't glitched or was caused by the new powerpack I downloaded recently.

It never glitched for me, but I did have 2 saves - one on HDD and one on Memory Card because having 300 songs on the song list pee'd me off a little. Unfortunately, thats all I can suggest (try a different save)

Can someone explain how you get the technician medal? Seems random for me! Managed to get over 40 so far but im mnot sure what it is you do to unlock it?

You have to use the vibrato, when theres long notes, just make sure to hit several of them perfect. But if you are playing Bust a Move theres no long notes so just make sure you hit most of the notes.

I'd been working through that one with a friend, using the 0-pt tie method, and stumbled on using a Silver GT account to boost entirely locally. But I didn't know you could quit out. I'm going to try and finish this tonight so I can just put the Achievements behind me (it's my last one!) and get on with enjoying the game.

* You don't have to sing the whole song.
* We used Bust A Move, as it had the most immediate 2 notes ("Bust it") - literally within a second of starting. Singing them gets you 3150 points, and then you can hit Start and End Song. The winner sings "Bust it" on the first song, quits, and then quits the second song as soon as it starts. The loser quits both songs as soon as they start.

Thanks for the tip, it was doing my head in listening to the song four times i couldn't stand it..lol I'm gonna try this out later then 2hours later (hopefully) i should have my 1000 thanks.

This one is simple enough but time consuming. Sing 40 different songs (not 40 songs total they all have to be a different song). An easy way of knowing what you have done is by either starting left to right until you receive the achievement or by going to my lips and on the first blade it will say now many unique songs you have sung..

Probably worth pointing out that these songs all need to be played in full. Which pissed me off no end to find out after about an hr!

Quite odd. I'm thinking the reason I may not have the SuperStar status is because I dont have very many stars. I still need to get the 50,000 and 100,000 star achievements.

I'm having same problem with the VS, and I had been looking for "Score Attack" under the "Sing" and etc, but cannot find it... this (Score Attack) is not same as Vocal Fighters, right? Can someone help me where I can found Score Attack?

Hey, just bought Lips Number One Hits yesterday...how can i get the uploading achievements???

I can go to "freestyle" in the main menu but it seems impossible to upload any songs from either the harddrive or neither the USB!?

And the option "get music" is also not available from the main menu...same for the jukebox stuff

Do i need to buy the original Lips game to unlock all of this stuff???

I'm having a problem doing "VS" in the new nº1 lips and with assigning the MIcs... here are my problems:

If I go for the Single/VS it says "shake the mic to play" or something like that... I shake it but to no avail... I tried it with 2 controllers turned on and only 1 profile, I tried it with 2 profiles sign in and nothing... I can't do VS... what am I missing??

Also I have the 2 mics on but when I go to assign the mics I can only change to whom the MIC 2 is assigned... How do I assign MIC 1???

Hey. I don't come post on here much but i am always looking at the threads and guides, it's a great site.

I have just one question, the new achievements that have been added can they be unlocked in the original game or just in the expansion discs. Might seem like a simple answer, but I just wanted to be sure.
