To keep my stats I loaded up my first playthrough (after completing it), started a new game on hard from there.

Great guide, helped me so much only have 3 more to go. Question about the Speed Demon? So I actually have to play through all 3 at the same time to get the Master? I cannot load, do the first one and then save and load to the Arctic ones?

Can somebody please clarify this and have it added to the achievement guide? Some people are saying that it's a different difficultly level, and some are saying that you have to change all the tailoring options so that it's as hard as possible for you. And if it is just a difficulty setting and not changing the tailoring to make it harder, are you allowed to play on the hard difficulty and change the tailoring to make it easier?

^^
I think the reason some people aren't getting the Master Survivalist is because they are messing around with the tailoring after they start the game. Just do what I did and start a new game and choose the Master difficulty and play through and you should get the achievement. Messing around with the tailoring once you start is probably not a good idea as the game might not give you the achievement even if you do beat all the levels with that tailoring set. To clarify though, Master difficulty does make all of the tailoring set at the most difficult levels such as: the damage is at max and the ammunition is at the least, etc. But again, I think to get the achievement you actually have to start a new game and choose Master, not just change the tailoring.

Swan Diver II isn't unlocking for me, I am jumping from exactly where I should be. I have watched videos on youtube and seen the screenshows here but it's not unlocking for me. Anyone have any solutions or a tip if I am doing it wrong. |

From what I understand you need to play through from that point to the 3rd jump and do that one also, then it will unlock.

This is my first post here, so first of all I wanted to say thanks to the OP for a nice clear guide.
I wanted to add a comment about the Speed Demon I achievement, it might just be the way I read the guide but incase anyone one else is having any trouble with this, like I did for a bit, the 45 second timer begins as soon as the second calendar locks in place. So the Cut Scene of Xibalba opening is included in the 45 seconds. You only get about 15 seconds to complete the run with around 25 seconds for the cut scene and about 5 seconds to get Lara to the bike. HTH anyone who is wondering why they can't get the achievement to unlock. |

So I'm about to do a Master Survivalist run. I got all the relics/treasures on Easy. I'm wondering how I start a game on the hardest difficulty with all of my stuff carrying over. I still have to do the 3 Swan Dives, though.

Recorded by yours truly, a guide on how to find the Relic (Collector achievement - 25G) in Beneath The Ashes can be found here.

What is the best way to tackle this game? Should I aim for one run through on hard, or do two starting on easy?
I haven't played a TR game since the 90s. |

Do it on Hard - there's really not that much difference, just a few more things to shoot. The rest of the game (puzzles etc) is exactly the same.

Great guide. Extremely helpful. 5-star vote courtesy of myself. Thanks a bunch. For the other dudes, go for hard the first time, not very difficult. The only problems that you're going to have are figuring the puzzles and trying to figure out where the hell you have to go half the time. Anyways, thanks for this great info in the guide.

A great guide, I played to get Master Survivalist on first playthrough though and got it with ease, very glad I didn't have to play this game twice, semi good game but jumping mechanics really annoyed me.

Thanks to everyone and congrats...
I still come back to my guide and occasionally double check my work and the wording for everything here. So I hope everyone has been able to go through it with some ease.
I'm glad everyone is getting their 1000G.

First of all - thanks for the guide.
Secondly - I've finished the TR: Underworld with 1000G, yet it doesn't show up in the list of the 100% games on my Achievements block in the Xbox menu. Is it really necessary to buy the two DLC's in order to really 100% this game? |
