Achievement Guide
Score International® Baja 1000 ![]() Achievement Guide Note: This Achievement Guide was written by NumberUno x360a for use on x360a.org and nowhere else, don't steal it's against the law. ------------------------------------------------------------------- ![]() Collector Unlock every vehicle. 100 ![]() Vehicles are unlocked by a number of different objectives, to view what you need to do to unlock certain vehicles just select an event in career and you'll be brought to the vehicle select screen. You can select any of the locked vehicles and the description of how to unlock it will be shown. Completing career should unlock every vehicle except the Tardan Senior Trophy Truck, for which you need to gain 100 opponent knock-offs. To be able to get opponent knock-offs quickly you can go to Circuit #7 once you unlock it and select the race that pits you, in a Class 1 car, against 7 riders on dirt bikes. So If you require a quick fix to gain the knock-offs that's your place. Just drive and ram as many of the dirt bike riders you can and finish the race. ![]() Strong Finish Complete the career. 100 ![]() There are a total of 44 different events throughout the eight Circuits and four Endurance races. Now for this achievement you don't need to win every single event to complete career, you just need to get enough points to unlock the different Circuits and Endurance races, as long as you complete each one you will complete career. The only thing is, is that you must win every event if you want to unlock the "Perfectionist" achievement. ![]() Perfectionist Place 1st in every career race. 100 ![]() At anytime in career you can select and retry any event you wish. Most events throughout career are easily won with a regular vehicle, but always choose wisely because the locked vehicles are not always the best out of them all. You need to gain the highest points possible in an event, but that shouldn't be an issue. The only events that will pose an issue will be the "beat the lap time" races, and for those I suggest racing them once and getting what you can. Don't try to beat these events until you have at least unlocked the final Dirt Bikes, only then and while driving one should you attempt to beat the lap times. I found the Blue Lightning Dirt Bike to be the fastest vehicle in the game. ![]() Weekend Driver Drive a total of 250 miles in career, exhibition, System Link, and Xbox LIVE. 25 ![]() Please see "Baja Ironman" achievement. ![]() Marathon Wheelman Drive a total of 500 miles in career, exhibition, System Link, and Xbox LIVE. 50 ![]() Please see "Baja Ironman" achievement. ![]() Baja Ironman Drive a total of 1000 miles in career, exhibition, System Link, and Xbox LIVE. 100 ![]() The 1000 miles will be gained easily through normal progression or Career mode. If you finish Career mode without having 1000 miles, just redo some of the races you have already completed. ![]() Unlock 2nd Ticket Unlock the 2nd ticket in the career. 10 ![]() You must gain 35 career points in Endurance Regional #1, in Career mode to unlock second ticket, A.K.A Circuit #2. You gain career points depending upon where you place in the races. The higher you place the more points you receive. ![]() Unlock 3rd Ticket Unlock the 3rd ticket in the career. 15 ![]() You must gain 30 career points in Circuit #2, in Career mode to unlock third ticket, A.K.A Circuit #3. You gain career points depending upon where you place in the races. The higher you place the more points you receive. ![]() Unlock 4th Ticket Unlock the 4th ticket in the career. 20 ![]() You must gain 40 career points in Circuit #3, in Career mode to unlock the forth ticket, A.K.A Circuit #4. You gain career points depending upon where you place in the races. The higher you place the more points you receive. ![]() Unlock 5th Ticket Unlock the 5th ticket in the career. 25 ![]() You must gain 35 career points in Endurance Regional #2, in Career mode to unlock the fifth ticket, A.K.A Circuit #5. You gain career points depending upon where you place in the races. The higher you place the more points you receive. ![]() Unlock 6th Ticket Unlock the 6th ticket in the career. 30 ![]() You must gain 50 career points in Circuit #5, in Career mode to unlock the sixth ticket, A.K.A Circuit #6. You gain points career depending upon where you place in the races. The higher you place the more points you receive. ![]() Unlock 7th Ticket Unlock the 7th ticket in the career. 35 ![]() You must gain 45 career points in Endurance Regional #3, in Career mode to unlock the seventh ticket, A.K.A Circuit #7. You gain career points depending upon where you place in the races. The higher you place the more points you receive. ![]() Unlock 8th Ticket Unlock the 8th ticket in the career. 40 ![]() You must gain 75 career points in Circuit #7, in Career mode to unlock the seventh ticket, A.K.A Circuit #8. You gain career points depending upon where you place in the races. The higher you place the more points you receive. Last edited by Scotian Bred; 11-16-2008 at 07:12 AM. |

------------------------------GUIDE CONTINUED------------------------------ ![]() 1st in Endurance #1 Place 1st in Endurance Regional #1. 40 ![]() First off, you must gain 30 career points in Circuit #1 to unlock this. Then once it's unlocked make sure to place 1st to unlock the achievement. If you don't win you can redo the race from the career menu, to try and gain the 1st place finish you need. You gain career points depending upon where you place in the races. The higher you place the more points you receive. ![]() 1st in Endurance #2 Place 1st in Endurance Regional #2. 50 ![]() First off, you must gain 45 career points in Circuit #4 to unlock this. Then once it's unlocked make sure to place 1st to unlock the achievement. If you don't win you can redo the race from the career menu, to try and gain the 1st place finish you need. ![]() 1st in Endurance #3 Place 1st in Endurance Regional #3. 60 ![]() First off, you must gain 55 points in Circuit #6 to unlock this. Then once it's unlocked make sure to place 1st to unlock the achievement. If you don't win you can redo the race from the career menu, to try and gain the 1st place finish you need. ![]() 1st in Endurance #4 Place 1st in Endurance Regional #4. 70 ![]() First off, gain 100 Career points in Circuit #8 to unlock this. Then once it's unlocked make sure to place 1st to unlock the achievement. If you don't win you can redo the race from the career menu, to try and gain the 1st place finish you need. ![]() Feet Wet Finish any race in career, exhibition, System Link, or Xbox LIVE. 5 ![]() This will unlock after your first race of career, you don't have to beat the requirements, or even win. Just finish the race. ![]() Dead Man's Curve Wreck your vehicle in career, exhibition, System Link, or Xbox LIVE. 5 ![]() Begin any race in career and get up a good speed and aim directly for an obstacle, you'll know you wrecked your vehicle when your game goes into a slow-mo crash cam. ![]() Podium Finish any race in first place in career, exhibition, System Link, or Xbox LIVE. 10 ![]() Please see the "Pink Slip" achievement. ![]() All Skill Finish any race in the top 3 without any damage in career. 25 ![]() This one is tricky, and is best saved for once you get the hang of the controls and the maps. Also having a fast bike like the Blue Lightning dirt bike, which is unlocked later on in the game, will help you gain a good lead from the start, and hopefully stop the biggest pain of getting this achievement, the crash happy A.I. Your damage is monitored in the upper right hand corner of the HUD, you are able to take lil scrapes and bumps, but if your HUD shows colour on your damage monitor then you will know you have been damaged and unable to gain the achievement. Also, certain race types such as Head-to-Head and Endurance will not work. It must be a Circuit race. ![]() Pink Slip Win a head to head race. 5 ![]() The second race in career is a Head to Head race against an ATV, winning this race will unlock this achievement as well as the "Podium" achievement all in one race, that's if you win it. If you don't win it just retry from the career menu. ![]() High Flyer Spent 5 minutes in the air in career, exhibition, System Link, and Xbox LIVE! 20 ![]() There is no shortage of airtime in the game, progressing through Career should gain you more then enough minutes in the air for this achievement. ![]() Road Rage! Knocked 20 other racers off of their vehicles in career, exhibition, System Link, and Xbox LIVE! 20 ![]() You might gain this while progressing through Career, or you may not. If you don't then you can go to Circuit #7 and select the race that pits you, in a Class 1 car, against 7 riders on dirt bikes. So If you require a quick fix to gain the knock-offs that's your place. Just drive and ram as many of the dirt bike riders you can and finish the race. ![]() Duct Tape Connoisseur Lost a total of 100 vehicle parts during races in career, exhibition, System Link, and Xbox LIVE! 20 ![]() Every time you crash will loosen up the body panels of your vehicle, after too much abuse they will fall off and register toward the 100 total you need. This achievement should come through normal progression through Career, but if it doesn't just redo any race you have already done, and drive like a madman. ![]() Consolation Prize Crashed a vehicle 100 times in career, exhibition, System Link, and Xbox LIVE! 20 ![]() Every time you crash you go into a slow-mo view, each time you do will register toward the 100 total crashes you need. But be careful because to many crashes will ruin your vehicle and disqualify you from the race. This achievement should come through normal progression through Career, but if it doesn't just redo any race you have already done, and drive like a madman. I finished the game with only 35 opponents knocked off. There is a stage in Circuit #7 where you have to drive a class 1 against 7 motorcycles. I knocked 65 opponents off in 5 races. This opened the last trophy truck and I got the Collector achievement.

It took me about 10 hours to beat the entire game and get all achievements. All but one achievement can be unlocked by simply progressing through Career.
It's the one of the easiest racing game on the 360. It's right up there with Cars.

Boost at the start and try to knock off as many drivers as possible (usually 2-3). Then just restart the race and do it again, it still counts the knock offs

You can get a heck of a lot more then 2 or 3 if you just finish the race. You can hit the same guy over and over and each time counts. Or you can nail each guy twice and they all count. I got about 15 knock-offs per race.

Okay, I completed this game as well, wasn't too hard, but it sure was fun.
But you are mentioning the Blue Lightning to get the hardest races (mostly the time trials), but the problem is with the Blue Lightning that it unlocks when you complete everything at Circuit #7. It takes really a while to get to level 7 and ofcourse, there is also a time trial that's very tough to beat the time for 20 Points. I don't know anymore exactly how I unlocked it, but somewhere halfway the game I unlocked the 'Orange Lush' bike, which is the 2nd best vehicle in the game IMO and when I got that one, I hadn't had trouble beating every race (including time trials) and I also could beat the time trial in Circuit #7 with it. I only used the blue lightening for the time trial in Circuit #8 I know you mentioned to wait for the fastest bikes to unlock, but I think mentioning the Orange Lush will make other peoples games so much easier untill they unlock the Blue Lightening. |

The blue lightning is unlocked by getting full points on Circuit #7 So really all you need the Orange lush for is to beat the #7 time trial and the rest of the #7 races and then you unlock the Blue Lightning..

yeah bs...the time trials alone make this a harder racing game than Sonic Sega Racing, Dirt, and Forza 3 put together. Cars is way too easy and this games just annoying and garbage

the shitty handling makes this game way harder than it needs to be. i liked it until half way through then it got too frustrating.

I found this game rather easy, and 1000gs it in 5hrs 11 min and 30 sec according to the timer... I found the "Orange Lush" bike the best in the game as it seems to have the best power/boost to turning ratio.
I figured I had a lot more to go because I was at 5 hours when I needed to get the knock off 100 riders (last achievement for getting all the vehicles) but did it in under 15 min. |
