Dark brotherhood problem. Spoilers
Im at the bit where we get set up. Im escaping but everytime i enter the night mothers coffin the screen goes black she says sleep then its stays black forever or freezes! Any work around!

I had this same problem too. The only solution I found was to keep pushing the guide button on and off constantly immediately after entering the coffin until you make it through the cut-scene. I know it sounds like a weird solution but it worked for me. The other option other people found sometimes works is to just leave it alone when it appears to be stuck. It may take 5 minutes or more but will eventually "unstick" itself.

I seem to remember you being inside the coffin for a really long time before you are found, and able to get out. I never had any issue with it freezing. Like I said, it almost seems like an inhumane amount of time to wait.....Start it up, and let it run it's course.

Tried waiting for 15mins then it froze. tried another 3 times froze on the 5th go it worked and i was in there for about 30 seconds. Weird annoying bug!

It has been known to have some bugs.....

Same here, thought my xbox had frozen completely as pressing the xbox button didn't even bring up the menu, but had a lil faith, made a cuppa, came back, and presto.

Had the exact same issue, it did it 2-3 times to me having to turn my console off. It eventually continued on which I was glad because my save was inside the sanctuary and if I was glitched in there then my game was screwed but luckily that didn't happen.

I got the same problem and I solved it loading the last save file

mine did the same thing but one of my friends who plays it on pc said it took his game a minute or two to do anything and just told me to wait. after 5 minutes it started working again. Not a clue why though

This and freezing when you first hide in the coffin are common issues. If you save in front of the coffin each time before you freeze when you reload it will work properly.

My first game crashed about midway through the DB quests. I really was getting into this part and wanted to see where it took me. When it started going bad, the walls and floors started disappearing. It was weird.

Same thing happened to me, but I found that if you hit the back button and wait for an hour inside the coffin it'll start the conversation.

I am having the same issue, my screen just goes black and nothing happens. My only save is right before I embrace her so I am screwed

Reading this has given me some hope. I thought I was the only one who had this problem!

Update: It froze like usual but I waited it out for 5 minutes, now Its worked.

i had the same problem, make sure the door you came in is open and reload your save. It happened to me at the 6:30 mark
