Achievement Discussion

The achievements are definetely a step in the right direction....
I'm still extremely disappointed about the 100% of gaps achievement, but will probably be renting this game anyway..

well i deff know ill need an achievement partner for the wins online. cuz no one is ever online= stupidest fucking achievements ever
 .also hate the 100% gaps . although im thinkin about goin back to 'thaw' to get the full 1k finally...

Man, i dont mind the 100% gaps, its just that they're normally just so hard to find them by yourself, you have to wait to find a guide. I think online achievements are gay as well. I doubt i will even play 100 games online, and I am a true tony hawk fan... i've played them all from the very first one.

Hopefully that one where you have to beat a developer or someone who has already beaten a developer wont be too hard to get after awhile.. All we need is one person from the forums to get it and then just spread it like a virus.. lol..
I like the achievements for the most part, definitely better than last years, and will take longer, but i dont like the ones where u have to manual for a certain distance and have a total of 4 hours in the air, those could take awhile However, the other game that will be added soon (Tiger 07) one-upped Tony Hawk on improving from last years achievements in my mind ;P |

I really hate stupid leaderboard achievements in games i mean nobody (except the first couple people who play it and some hardcore THPS fans) will get the You made it into Project 8 You made it to spot 4! and Ranked Number 1! achievements its just so unfair to people who get the game later and will probably have to boost.

14,000 seconds of air time....
Thats almost 4 hours..... 140,000 of manual.... (Hopefully Cheats WONT Work) Will take a while... I like them  Finally a little challenge... And after playing the demo I know I'll have a good challenge...

The 140,000 Manual , 140,000 Grind , and 14,000 Air may sound hard but its pretty easy. I had almost all of them by the end of the game and just finished it off. If you need help with anything in game send me a friend request. Teh 100% gaps is gonna be a big pain until a guide comes out.

For the 14,000 seconds of air time... there's a bowl in the Skate Park that will actually sustain your skater for an infinite amount of time. Just get him going and he'll start making 2 second jumps on his own... I just put the controller down and changed the chanel

What exactly is the requirement for "All pro challenges completed"?
I've beaten all of the ones on the achievement list but didn't get the achievement. |

For sick chalk challenges does that just mean the actually chalk challenges like grind, manual, wallride, wallplant etc. or does it mean ALL the goals?

You have to complete tony's last challenge after you get rank 5. Just keep playing and doing those goals, you'll need less than 20% am and all goals completed.

do you have to progress each step from rank 4 to rank 1, or does it all jump at once. i have been rank 4 forever, and i have been doing challenges at higher levels, but am still 4. thanx for the help.
