I'm kind of confused after reading through all of this...Do we have to do all of the Bike and graffiti missions throughout the game on both modes or just story or neither?

all you have to do are all the main story missions... you only have to go through the game once... you can check your progress in the pause menu

For getting the "game complete" achievement, you dont have to finish the game on all difficulties. I just got the achievement, and I finished Story mode and classic mode on normal, did all the missions and all the gaps.
So you DONT have to do it on all difficulties! 100% sure!!

I have 900 on this game and all I need left is the gaps...how long did it take you to finish get all the gaps in this game..I went through project 8's gaps fairly quick but this game just seems harder..and more annoying.

For me it was a really easy/quick 900...but the last 100 points is a pain getting all the gaps...I don't think I will be doing them..but does anybody know if they have a way of keeping track of which gaps you got so you can view them like in P8?

Can anyone confirm that there are no "missable" gaps? The achievement guide says:

' There are a couple of gaps that must be collected during the story mode or you will miss the opportunity to get them. They are "Record Company Top Jump," "Dinosaur Head Gap," and "Oil Ring Vator." '

I was looking through the threads and other people were saying that this is not true. They said it doesnt matter because you can just go back to the skate ranch and they will be there. Can someone please give a 100% accurate answer to this. It would be much appreciated.

YOU CAN FINISH STORY MODE AND CLASSIC MODE 100% AND THEN LOAD UP YOUR STORY MODE AND COLLECT THE 3 GAPS FROM THE SKATE RANCH. THEN JUST SAVE AND DO THE REST IN FREE SKATE. THERE ARE NO "MISSABLE" GAPS. SOMEONE SHOULD CHANGE THAT NOTE IN THE GUIDE.

No need to boost. Its as simple as just loading up each map and quiting out once the achievement pops up. No one even needs to be in the online match that you create. You wont be able to do this for all the maps at first, you need to play through story and classic modes to unlock them all.

Yea I'm pretty sure I did it on easy for story and normal for classic, the lowest difficulty for each I think. I had no problems unlocking them.

I've only got one gap left, the 4th Natas spin at the Vans park, and have spent around 7 hours the last couple of days trying to do it but havent come close even after watching a bunch of youtube vids and the one at thps3. I've only got to the 3rd one a handful of times. If anyone can give me a tip on how to finish this stupid gap it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

the way i got the 4 natas spins is turn on perfect rail, then when your on your natas spin, push all the way to the left or the right so it slows you down, then jump off and run to the next one. i got it after like 10 tries.

on the high score ones how do you get them do you do it on or offline idk im confused

for the high scores, just do freeskate and post a 'high score' you just have to do one trick to get some kind of score, then save. since the 'high scores' are just your personal high scores, 10pts or however its scored will be enough for a high score. no need to do it online.

I've got 3 gaps to go. If anyone could offer some detailed descriptions, or the key that helped you to nail 'em, I'd be eternally grateful!

The Ruins - Double Dam Transfer
The Mall - Step Off a Mezzanine
The Mall - Over a Huge 32 Stair Set

I know technically *where* the gaps are, I just can't seem to get enough speed to make it happen. Any tips?

I got the Double Dam, start on the left side, where the side corner nearly meets the edge, walk off the edge into an acid drop, and you can land nearly perpendicular to face the nearest QP. Up and over, took me only a handful of attempts with this method.

Key: Acid drop closer than you want to the QP.

I got the Mezzanine, the trick is to grind off that little ramp on the upper level. Grind and jump off the tip. I did it on the left side.

I got the Huge Stair Set gap, the key is not to jump from the top. Wait until your character falls to the first step... THEN release the jump key and double tap for the boned ollie.

I COMPLETED STORY MODE ON: EAZY, NORMAL, SICK,
CLASSIC MODE ON : NORMAL, SICK
AND I HAVE ALL THE ###### GAPS ... (THAT S####)

AND WORSE OF ALL I DID NOT GET THE ACHIEVEMENT!!!

ok now these achievements look hard. i definitely don't see myself ever getting this game. i always try to ask around from friends who have played the game, in order to get a better idea of the game play etc. one of my friends said it was completely frustration so he had to stop playing it. he ended up with 850gs, and he is a completionist so that says a lot about this game for me.
