Yeah I second that.
It's a story dependent achievement.
Don't worry about it. I didn't take out all the cars during the story and got the achievement after taking out G-Man's and his crew near the end of the game.

I think i have wasted alot of time......!
Notorious "Finish 119 Multiplayer Races in any position"
dose that mean i have to play races or can it be done by playing cops n robbers??? just need to know cuz i have been playing cops n robbers all day and rack up 66 plays online now or have i've been wastin my time by doing it that way.....

dose not matter now i have just got the notorious achievement, cops and robbers dose count "Finish 119 Multiplayer "Races" in any position" i play a few but i also just left the game running with out playing it (lol) also found it a quick way as well to get 25 wins online.....

Yeah, i would assume so, it just says 'multiplayer events', private matches are still multiplayer, so yeah.

This game is perfect for this site. The achievements are gained by playing the story line (apart from a couple) i enjoyed the story/career mode and the online mode is good. i got 1000/1000 yesterday

A little tip to get 25 wins and 119 games played. just join a cops and robbers game and let it play for a few hours. Or just boost with a partners on a 1 minute race.

Are the races that you need to dominate to get the achievements the same name as the achievement itself

you can do te events after u beet story mode yes. a u need to do every event to get 100% but u dont have to dominate every event

ok I bought the game like March 2nd, and I found out the date was the 27th of February. Is it true that they will have more dates up to this achievement to be active?? I need to know..I really would love to this this 20 gs achievement

go to the needforspeed website and register, it will tell you how many you've won and completed...i guess they have problems with registering completed races and not all of them get counted.

thanks I will! but I play Battle Field Bad Company to much to forget about getting achievements, and when I play for achievements, it bugs me to can't get the ones that I don't have

Does the notoriuos achievement still could if some if not all LEAVE the game? (I think they count but I wanted to be sure) It could be because I'm using some of the cars I earned from the challenge series or is beacuse I'm pretty good or perhaps it could be something I don't know.

Notorious50 Finish 119 Multiplayer Races in any position All you have to do here is simply finish 119 multiplayer races. It does not matter what position you finish as long as you finish the race. DNF's do not count towards getting this achievement.

This can be achieved in Private Matches with friends.

"There is a very simple way to do this. Search for cops vs robbers. Keep joining lobbies until you are the first person in the loobie, i.e. the host. The game will end and you will stay in the lobby meaning you can play many games without having to do anything. So you can leave it overnight whilst you sleep."

I cannot personally confirm this but the comments seem to be an affirmative.

Personally, I think the achievements in this game are alright. Well, the offline ones. Pretty easy to get 20-30 achievements w/o even trying. The online's is practically dead from what I've heard and read, so those online ones will be a pain to get.
