[Tips] Unlocking announcer's voice

To unlock additional voices, you need to go to sparring mode and enter exercise mode. When you have completed it you will unlock the voice of that character.

Good luck with Hayate's...that move took me about an hour to finally get lucky and complete.

I've managed to unlock a few system voices. I think I've tried going through most of the characters, but gave up on one or two because of a move I couldn't do.

And as a courtesy reminder, if a specific move with a certain character is giving you grief, you can pause, pull up the command list, press A on whichever one you want to skip to and go from there. It'll go back to whichever one(s) you're having trouble with at the end.

And Christie's "English" voice sounds NOTHING like the Japanese voice.

When you spar as La Mariposa, what does the little 1/2 circle about a letter mean?

its something like --> X B only the X & B have what looks like a little 1/2 circle above them, so how do you move the stick to do this?

it means you have to keep them pressed until you complete the move i think

Yeah, I was reading about this in some FAQ. I went out of my way to complete Brad Wong's just because he has the least annoying voice. Much less annoying than the default. If you unlock all of them, it unlocks the Tatami level for play I think too. I didn't do that, so I can't confirm.

This is probably gonna sound lame but I'm stuck on Kasumi's sparring mode.
I'm trying to do a move called "oboro", which is f+p during "Hoshinpo".
The question is how do I do hoshinpo?
I looked in the command list and I can't find it.
(Sorry if this is the wrong place, it's my first post and I tried searching for the move and sparring and I couldn't find it.)

Press Left Trigger + Step against the opponent (right/left, hold it in a bit) + A.

Not everyone. Everyone but Ein. I've just played with everyone and I didn't unlock any voice when I was finished with sparring with Ein.
I just can't finish the "Raijin" with Hayate (which means that I don't have Hayate's voice, but my friend has it).

The only difficult exercise is just his special throw which takes some time, the rest of his moves are plain simple.
