Bill & Ted 3 Coming Soon?

Most excellent news! Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest) is now set to direct the long-awaited Bill & Ted 3, with Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter attached to reprise their roles as Ted Logan and Bill Preston, respectively.

Vulture reports that creators Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson have already written the script, which addresses where our heroes are in their lives today (as opposed to rebooting the franchise completely). Current plans are to develop the film as a mid-priced comedy a la Hot Tub Time Machine.

Stay true to the first two films and we won't have a problem.

Oh god I hope this does not happen. I smell a pop culture heavy movie full of cameos and unfunny references. The original 2 were perfect for the time and still hold up today but seriously what will a 3rd bring, only dissapointment.

Wow it's only been how long since the originals came out? I wonder it this started because they saw someone else use Abraham Lincoln as a historical figure in a movie...
