Problems fixing the Trash Compactor

Is it possible to fix the Trash Compactor after completing Episode 1?

The gremlin here, does not appear! I have even finished all the main story, and nothing: no one appears.

If I start a new game, I can repair buildings at the time of opening (and go into) the DEC to Ostown, but it does not seem logical return return at this time of the game to make the repairs.

Please, help!!!

I am not quire sure I understand what you mean. But I have completed the game and just getting the last pins now. I only bothered fixing the trash compactor, the robot head, fish head in main st north 'at the end of the game when I'd finished all the story and side quests.

There is no point doing it at the beginning as you may find there are more vital things to use money and scrap metal on.
