pukuimao
So here I am struggling to choose which to buy between Nokia 920 and HTC 8x. I prefer HTC 8x, and I know there are some games that are Nokia exclusives. Someone told me that I can still buy the "Nokia Only" games via the HTC 8x, but after I googled I found nothing about this information. Is there anyone know what's true? Yes just follow the next steps 1. Note the date of when the Nokia game you want to download was released. 2. Wait 6 months for the exclusivity to end. 3. Now download the game to your HTC 8X Seriously though most are not worth the hassle. Mirrors Edge is probably the best game and the exclusivity on that ended some time ago. Others that have had the exclusivity period end are Connect 4 Risk Spy Mouse Trivial Pursuit Parking Mania Game of Life Edited May 29, 2013 by IEvil IMonkey
VonThronstahl
It is possible with a custom rom BUT it may be illegal (depends on where you live) AND it voids your guarantee! If the phone bricks and is unuseable you are to blame. It's better to wait 6 months.

Fire Hawk D
Seems like an odd question. "Nokia only" is pretty cut and dry, though it'd be better (and more accurate) to read it was "Nokia-only for 6 months". Still, no, you can't download on your HTC. jcoey1
I went for the 8X without realising about the Nokia exclusives. Can't say I've ever been bothered by any of them to date and I've had the 8X around 5 months. Its a great phone, but then so is the 920!
Yin
You can't go wrong with the 8X. By the time I'm finished playing the games that come out for all Windows Phone devices, the exclusivity has long expired for the Nokia titles.
simmshady22
Apparently someone has found out how to download exclusive apps to any phone. http://m.wpcentral.com/windows-phone-store-weakness-makes-exclusive-apps-accessible-all
