Mr Arrow
Before monsters appear you must catch that type of species first, i.e. once you catch a largemouth bass, Dottie will appear, etc. If you have 'messages' turned on, it will notify you when a monster fish is unlocked. In Free Fishing, select the lake and make the adjustments listed below [leave everything else random]. The location of the monsters varies, but it will show on the map as a small blue dot. I recommend activating the Lake Challenge to catch a monster first, that way you'll get both things done at one time! Here are the 30 monsters: Lake Minnetonka: Dottie [largemouth bass] spring > morning Largemouth bass are found almost everywhere Crier [smallmouth bass] spring > evening Smallmouth bass can be caught in Lake Mead in the morning. Ludwig [white bass] autumn > evening White bass are caught in Lake Lanier in the morning. Lou [lake sturgeon] autumn > morning Lake sturgeon are caught in Lake Champlain in the evening ---------------------- Lake Lanier: Arrow [rainbow trout-steelhead] autumn > morning Rainbow trout-steelhead are caught in Lake Mead at noon Lighter [white crappie] autumn > evening White crappie are caught in Lake Mead at noon Eyesup [flathead catfish] spring > morning Flathead catfish are caught in Lake Mead at anytime Amp [white perch] spring > noon White perch are caught in Lake Champlain in the evening --------------------- Lake Casitas: Charlie [brown trout] summer > evening Brown trout are caught in Lake Champlain at noon Umbra [black crappie] summer > morning Black crappie are caught in Lake Mead at noon Pickwick [sauger] autumn > evening Sauger are caught in Lake Fork in the morning Starlad [yellow perch] autumn > morning Yellow Perch are caught in Lake Minnetonka in the evening --------------------- Lake Champlain: Ralph [king chinook salmon] autumn > evening King chinook salmon are caught in Lake Erie in the evening Freezner [artic char] autumn > morning Arctic char are caught in Lake Champlain in the morning Annublu [bluegill sunfish] summer > evening Bluegill sunfish are caught in Lake Minnetonka at noon Mekong [channel catfish] summer > morning Channel catfish can be caught in Lake Mead in the evening Champ [american eel] summer > noon American Eel are caught in Lake Erie at noon. -------------------- Lake Fork: Deepner [lake trout] spring > morning Lake trout can be caught in Lake Champlain at noon Annure [redear sunfish] spring > evening Redear sunfish can be caught in Lake Minnetonka in the evening. Ferdinand [brown bullhead catfish] summer > morning Brown bullhead catfish can be caught in Lake Lanier in the morning. Lost [burbot] summer > evening Burbot are caught in Lake Champlain in the evening ---------------------- Lake Erie: Icy [artic grayling] summer > morning Artic grayling are caught in Lake Erie in the evening Golden [chain pickerel] autumn > evening Chain pickerel are caught in Lake Champlain in the morning Piton [the Fish-O-Pedia guide is wrong] [northern snakehead] autumn > morning Northern snakehead are caught in Lake Lanier in the morning. Jewel [silver carp] summer > noon Silver carp can be caught in Lake Erie in the morning Headless [cutthroat trout] summer > evening Cutthroat trout are caught in Lake Casitas in the morning. ---------------- Lake Mead: Jack [northern pike] summer > evening Northern pike can be caught in Lake Minnetonka at noon Murphy [muskellunge] summer > morning Muskellunge can be caught in Lake Erie in the morning Uboat [walleye] spring > evening Walleye can be caught in Lake Mead in the morning Blaze [striped bass] spring > morning Striped bass can be caught in Lake Mead in the evening. ---------------------- I tried to be as accurate as possible, if I made any mistakes please let me know. __________________ Edited April 4, 2011 by Mr Arrow Corrected Yellow Perch location

Mr Arrow
Thanks very much. I am sure this is going to help alot. To unlock a Monster Fish, can it be caught in Tournament or does it have to be in free fishing ? Fish caught in tournaments or free fishing will unlock monsters. I'm not sure however, whether monster can be caught during tournaments. I did all mine in free fishing.

RPX999
Thanks for the tips, and MEGA props on all your achievements. no offense, but how much time do you put into playing XBOX360. I play XBOX360, PS3 and World of Warcraft. So I don't have a ton of achievements as you can see.

Mr Arrow
la guia esta mal lo mejor es cargar los 7 mapas mirar en todas las estaciones y mañana mediodia y tarde I don't think the guide is wrong, but if you can be more specific with the problem you're having perhaps I can help. Translation (?) No creo que la guía está mal, pero si puedes ser más específico con el problema que está teniendo tal vez pueda ayudarte.
