WP Popped achvmts, show in game, but nowhere else?

Maybe there is some save feature in the OS that is bugging out? as well as MS going nuts! Or maybe their beta testing the whole WP8 service and games/apps and screwed up?

either way I'm not playing any major games that need alot of time or have accumulated achievements, etc!

Was that after MS announced that they were fixing the issue?

I am pretty sure that no one has had an issue with new achievements syncing since MS have reported that the fixed the issue. I am also pretty sure that people will have to delete and reinstall to be able to get the achievements that were skipped by the original syncing process. I would love to believe that the achievements will automatically sync but that is just not how it works. I wrote about 10 paragraphs on why last night, but I made one error in those posts that was picked up by one avid reader and decided to delete the posts rather than explain myself even further. As I said in those posts, if anyone can tell me otherwise, if anyone can tell me that an achievement that was previously not sticking for them has now synced, I would be glad to hear from them.

Awesome - my missing achievement has now synced up so glad i don't have to gold everything again in fable coin golf. Have they synced for the rest of you guys?

No offense to you, but "pretty sure" is not 100% confirmed. Until Mirosoft sends out a press release or something stating that the issue has been resolved, I'm not going on the word of some random dude(s) on the internet. MS said it would be resolved within 24 hours and people were STILL having issues with achievements not sticking to their gamertag on Saturday and Sunday(48 post their promised fix time).

Not to jump on you, just very VERY irritated at Microsoft and I just want this to be fixed. But then again, with all the time I've stayed away from playing on my phone, I've gotten useful stuff done. I've somewhat re-prioritized my life and gaming(phone gameplay at least) has been welcomingly dropped for better things. Makes me wonder if I'll go back to it when Microsoft gets their shit together

I just wanted to ask a few questions if that is ok?

How did you go about getting it to sync?

Did you just check your achievements on xbox.com or did you have to start the game?

When you first earned the achievement and it didn't stick, did you earn any achievements between then and now that HAD stuck?

Also, did you earn any between then and now that HAD NOT stuck?

I did load the game (Fable Coin Golf) a few times over the weekend but I didn't do anything today I just noticed my gamerscore had increased and when i checked my achievements the missing achievement had synced up with the date i originally unlocked it on.

No, once i realised there was an issue i made sure to not unlock any more achievements on WP. i did however unlock many achievements on xbox 360 in the mean time.

LOL as soon as I got home and checked my gamertag on my phone, the score increased. Exactly as Nicko said, it synced to the day it was officially unlocked and I didn't even have to boot up the game. Too funny.

BlueWolve if you're still interested I had a 2 little update symbol on my gamerhub and when I checked it my 2 missing achievements had just synced like everyone else! (though the numbers could have been anything).

I'm sure you were also glad to have been proven wrong in your "pretty sure" and "that's not how it works" claims

It seems like the problem is fixed now. Finally got my Minesweeper achievement unlocked and I didn't even do anything since the achievement bug lol

For me only a part is fixed Two of three achievements in asphalt5 (still missing the 5 million one) and geodefence that show 115/200 even if i complete the entire game... Hoping they will fix today...

No one in my same condition???

Easier said than done for myself. I have little faith in Microsoft, even when they release an official statement. I have been screwed over so many times by them, and although this particular situation has been resolved, the trust I once had in the company will not be returned by it. But that is just my personal opinion, and it won't stop me from giving them my money so I guess it does not really matter haha.

No this was before the issue was was patched, infact I did this around the time the issue started, around the 9th of August, I lost alot of game saves too, since there is no way to back these up, I can only imagine it's for obvious reason (game saving / cheating)

But the not so bad thing is the games data I lost like PvZ's which I had nearly finished, I'm looking forward to playing again, the same for Harbour Master, 18,000 ships out of the 50,000 lol

It would be nice if my missing achievements would sync up. Not a big deal though, I hadn't earned anything hard. If it doesn't fix itself by the time I finish (I was working on Sally's Salon at the time...) I'll just delete the game and re-earn the 4 that are missing. Luckily, it was only the early ones and not the hard ones.

My 3 lost achievements are now synch in the wp7 and xbox.com, with the correct GS. My console still says I didn't unlock them and that I didn't finnish the game in question :/

consoles always take a while to sync the data from wp7 or GFWL, it should show correctly in an hour or so, as long as it's on xbox.com, its all good

it's taken upto a day for my completed games to show, even after my GS synced, other formats just appear to confuse the thing for a while


my achievements for asphalt synced now, irritation levels dwindling... and a shmup for this week...bah, they've made me crumble again, curse you weak will.

It turned out to be 50-50 for me; about half of the missing achievements synced, while the other half did not. Luckily, those that synced were the harder ones to get.

Also, this whole week I've had no issue whatsoever with achievements not syncing.

In the last couple of days I've had a couple of achievements not sync. In Contract Killer on WP7 I had Medic pop and it shows up in game, but not on xbox.com. In Asphalt 7 Heat on WP8 I have Tight Rep showing in game, but not on xbox.com. If that one popped I didn't see it.

I was online both times. Asphalt 7 Heat was yesterday and I think Contract Killer was two days ago.

Is anybody else having problems with this again?

EDIT: Okay, right after posting I opened up Asphalt 7 Heat and it popped right away. I had already tried this fix on both games and it hadn't worked by the time I'd posted originally.
