problem with counter on Stonehaven arcade

So i only need to get gold on Stonehaven and then im done with arcade mode.
And i don't really have any problems with it, except that there is one
Hollow man that breaks trough a wall and i immediately have to counter him.
Which is all well and good, but when i counter he makes 4-5 extra hit's right after which i loose half of my helf on and i can't do anything to stop it.
Any ideas of what to do?

Pretty sure you just have to keep blocking.
