How long did it take you to get all 1000?
It took me about 34 hours to get 1000g in RE4 and about 30 in RE5. Some nice Game time for a 20 buck game. How did it take you to get all 1000? Because i think that the 15 to 20 hours stated in the guide is off (or maybe i'm just bad).

It took me 20 but that's because game time doesn't stop when you pause and walk away. I probably could have wrapped up the game faster.

Took me about 20 hours, maybe a bit more. The maximum time is off, the minimum time is okay, if you alrdy know the game and rush through it more

I suppose more players need more than 20 due to they wanna explore or they get stuck on a Boss.

I spent 18 hours with my first playthrough of the game (Ever! I regret only playing it now!), and I think two or three for Separate Ways. I've been slacking on my professional playthrough, but am well into the castle. With a stroke of luck, and some determination I think I can finish it up this weekend.

Including the shooting galleries it took me 26hrs on first playthru. 4hrs for Seperate Ways and now im at the Chief boss 4hrs into pro. This game was sooooo much easier on the Wii. I feel like a victim of the controls, theyre just so tanked. My handicap is havin to memorize what to do in every scene. Lol
I wish Crapcom wud have updated the controls for the 360. It wud have actually been fun. Tell ya, im NOT gettin Code Veronica.

I loved RE4!
I have it on PS2 and Wii! I am waiting for Christmas Day where I get 5000 MS Points among other expensive gifts :3 I'll definitely add this to my XBLA Buy list!

Same here ^
This is the last console I got to beat it on, and I liked to get some GS for all those years of practice :P How do you guys feel about the controls ? I just tried to play RE5, and it felt like a mess compared to the Gamecube controls for 4.

66 hours. I loved this game
I don't know how people beat it in under 20 hours, since it took me about 25 hours to complete my first playthrough.Although to be fair I used a walkthrough for most of the game, and the whole thing for professional, so it doubled the time, since I'd watch it on youtube and then have to do it myself.

Something close to 30 hours, a lot of pausing and doing other stuff, plus leaving the game on in an open area with no enemies to do something else caused that. I didn't really care too much how much time was wasted.

12 hours, haven't updated yet though, 5 for playthroighs normal, 2 for SW and 5 for Prof. As I rushed it with rockets against bosses etc. those of you saying 30 hours and seeming all proud, really must suck

About 53 hours. I took my time and never rushed in order to save ammos.
Besides, what's the point of rushing through a good game? ^_^

All my played games are exactly 1000G! I'm a 1000G completionist. I hate DLC achievements, since they always ruin my 100% 1000G record. 10000G for 10 games on 7/12/2010 20000G for 20 games on 9/8/2011 30000G for 30 games on 6/5/2012 40000G for 40 games on 24/9/2012 50000G for 50 games on 19/5/2013

Going through on pro now its my last achievement. I like how the achievements you get for just playing the game. To get 1000g in 20 hours is like a perfect run from someone experienced with the game. I would pin the game around 30-40 hours for the average gamer/newcomer. Ive beaten the game on gamecube, playstation 2 and now im gonna have 1000g on the box. Good times with RE4.

Approximately about 30 hours. I've took my time and enjoyed this awesome game.

After avoiding those dasterdly bottlecaps for so long, I finally buckled down and got them all. Breezed through the game on Normal with the handcannon so that wouldn't take too much of my focus, so I could save it for the shooting ranges. Took me a couple nights and some tips from my boyfriend/fellow RE fanatic, but I did it.
Now I hope to get completion on my other RE games. (Just 2 more on ORC)

My normal play through took 14 hours, just because I searched every nook and cranny, and got the bottle caps on normal. Pro took like 11 hours, and the two Ada campaigns took 5 hours total. So, 30 hours total

Besides the bottle caps I think I got all of mine in about 3 days. Bottle caps were too frustrating so I went back to them much later.

I just finished today, I had never played the game before when I started. My first play on normal took about 28 hours. Separate ways was 4 hours. Professional was 22 hours. On pro, I found everything so I had enough money to upgrade. Great game!
