Karma Trophies and Operation Anchorage

Hey guys could do with some help regarding the Karma achievements and playing the Operation Anchorage DLC.

So i have just completed Power of the atom quest to get the megaton house, and I'm about half way through level 3.

Now I want to start the operation anchorage questline, mainly to get all the cool gear, so does anyone know if I start it now while at level 3 will I complete it before I hit level 8, or even better level 7?

The thing is I'm not sure if I can raise or lower karma enough while in the simulation, I would rather get the karma achievements while out of the simulation, so if anyone has been in a similar situation and could help me out that would be great.

I'll start off by saying that, given the nature of this DLC, whatever Karma you start with, is what you'll end with, I don't think there is a single thing you can do in it to change your Karma.

Now, as for the level question, it's hard to say because the higher the level you are, the more XP you'll need to get to the next level. I don't think I've ever done this DLC that early, so there is a good chance that you could level up that much during this DLC, there is a lot of XP to be made.

Ok so I decided to just go ahead and start the questline, I did power of the atom then started, was level 3 when I started and finished it at the end of level 5.

I just changed the difficulty to very easy so I earned less XP.
