Starting all over again?

I loved this game a few years back. I think I had about 40 hours on it with a paltry 12 achievements. I only finished Human and Devil Hunter modes then got trounced by Dante at the start of the game on the next difficulty up and never went back to it.

After adoring my time playing DMC HD Collection and Bayonetta I want to revisit this once I am through with 3.
I am undecided whether to resume where I left off or start over from scratch.

I enjoy learning the moves over again and acquiring upgrades and the like. I also sucked at the game first time around and expect I'll suck just as much and struggle going back to it midway, those are my only reasons to restart - oh, and enjoying the DMC games immensely, thats another reason.

I was wondering if anyone else has restarted the game and wanted opinions on if it was worth it or not?

I actually have just done the same- came back to this after about 5 years. It's a really great game, some of the achievements are really hard though, bloody palace and S ranks on DMD mode for instance.

I played this a lot too. Was on mission 16 on dante must die then my HDD corrupt and I could not be bother to play it another 3 odd times

Cheers fellas - I realise you can prob start a new game on the same save file.

I guess I'll back the save up and start again to get the feel for it.
