Also, don't know if you guys know this or not. If you're playing, and let's say you kill 40 people, reload your checkpoint and kill them again, it counts twice towards your kill achievements. I got my assault rifle and melee achievements yesterday on the same group of guys.

[edit]Nevermind about the coop snipe question. Also, after I beat the game, I noticed that I got all the primary guns for free. I saw you say it "unlocked" them. I thought that meant that you were able to buy them now. Might want to reword that part, it was confusing for me. Don't know about anyone else though.

It can be trough out the game.

And yes we do know that, thats how I got 10 achievements in the tutorial mode, I reloaded about 50-80 times.

Both types of kills count.

Yuyanami, add this to the guide. It'll help a lot of people. Found out that these places are the most accessible for these achievements.

Running Man 30

Start up the China level. Make sure you have the M134 with the most aggro it can get. Swap the weapon with your partner. Go up the stairs and put your partner in Aggressive Forward. When he gets to the point where there are guys let him kill 2. Put him in aggressive defend. You should get overkill in about 5 seconds or so. You'll be able to get 3-4 kills going up the hill. I manage 2-3 on average.

Next, you'll go down the hill. Again, let your partner kill 2 and get your overkill. Go back down the hill and you should manage 3 or 4 kills. I averaged about 4-6 kills per run this way. Not bad at all.

Note: Sometimes this doesn't work because your partner AI melees the troops and acts retarded. He only acted retarded 2 out of 25 or so times for me.

L'Abattoir 30

Same thing as the China mission except this time get the Ak-47 with full Aggro. Kill 2 people and wait for overkill to kick in. I got about 8-10 kills in overkill mode going up and down the stairs all the time.

Should take you 1 hour to get both achievements if you've played through the game once or twice. About 1 hour 45 minutes if you haven't gotten any overkill kills yet.

Big Boom! Big Bada Boom! 20

Start up the Aircraft carrier mission. Once you get inside the aircraft carrier for the first time, you'll see a Riot Shield up against the wall. Take out your Stinger or RPG (Stinger works best) and go out the door. In one stinger shot you should be able to get 6 kills or so. The checkpoint is right there so it's very accessible.

Starting a Riot 30

Same as the above. Use the Aircraft Carrier Mission.

dude you can only get the weapons kills online as well as in campagin, co-op snipe, co-op riot shield, healing your parter, getting 1 million, getting the mask, buying those certain weapons and the achievements for beating each mission and beating all missions on professional, beast with two faces and fission mailed are the achievements you can only get in campaign, so don't go saying all achievements can be done online. except two

You can get 90% of the achievements in SP.

dude head to the back where the enemies are coming from the one with rpg theres a dumpster in the back how can't you find it, after doing back to back don't go into the wherehouse, just search that area outside and u'll will find it if u can't understand what that means

Seven-six-two Millimeter 20
Kill 250 enemies total using Assault Rifles.
Assault Rifles:

These achievements will be earned throughtout the course of the game if you take out a majority of the enemies. Switch to another Primary/Secondary weapon once you've gotten it so that you can start raking up kills for another gun. Kills online also count towards these achievements (whether be it AI or player kills).

For the Assault Rifle, Handguns and Sniper Rifles achievements, a good place to get them is the final training area of the first mission (Somalia). Ask your partner to advance ahead, he will then stop cause there's a proximity mine ahead. Throw a grenade beside him and he will run forward and be injured by the mine. Drag him around the corner and kill the guards that keep spawning. You have unlimited ammo and invulnerability. There will be 120 guards spawning 2 by 2 behind the fence so take them out at your leisure with one of the 3 guns. (This is cause you are stuck with stock weapons for the entire 1st mission). Your AI partner will not die while you are doing this.

You can also get the Submachine gun achievement in the last area in training. Swop your secondary weapon with Rios to get a submachine weapon and do the steps outlined in the paragraph above. Do this twice and you will get the achievement.

Flip You. Flip You For Real 20
Kill 50 enemies total using the Melee Attack.
Run up close to an enemy and press RT to do a melee attack. Kill 50 for this achievement. In the later stages, enemies with red health bars will not die from one melee attack so be careful. Enemies with blue life bars will still be taken out with one attack. It's hard but possible (unadvisable) to do them on heavy armored guards from behind but there's no point.

Fission Mailed 20
Kill 25 Martyrs by shooting the Bomb Packs on their chests.
Only mission 2 (right after the opening parachute sequence you can take out 6-7 martyrs) and mission 3 (halfway through the mission) have martyrs. Shoot 25 in the chest to make the bomb packs explode. This may not be achievable on 1 playthrough cause i believe there are less than 25 martyrs.

If It Bleeds, We Can Kill It 30
Kill 25 Heavy Armor enemies.
If you make sure you kill every heavy armor enemy in your playthrough, you will get this mid-way through the 2nd playthrough. If not, Miami probably has the highest number of heavys in the game (6 if i'm not wrong) and 4 of them are worth $5,000 each when you kill them.
* In Iraq, Ali Youseff is also considered to be a heavy armor enemy.
** The heavy guard in the training level also counts towards this achievement. Thanks to

Out of Debt 15
Heal your partner for the first time. Training does not count.
See below.

Field Medic 30
Drag and heal your partner 25 times.
Heal your partner 25 times by holding the 'A' button when he's down. Training mission in Somalia does not count. You can also repeatedly shoot at him to bring him down (if you have the ammo) and then heal him to get this.

Boots on the Ground 10
Finish playing a versus ranked match.
Just as it says, simply complete a versus ranked match. Shortest duration is 10 minutes and you need 4 players minimum to play a ranked game.

The Devil's in the Details 20
Complete 20 minor objectives in a ranked match.
In an online ranked game, press 'Back' to open the GPS. Minor objectives are highlighted in yellow. All you have to do is go up to them and press 'A' to pick them up. Best done in a 20 minute match. Some minor objectives can only be reached via step-jump. If you find that none are appearing on your GPS, go complete a main objective and they will respawn eventually. You might want to split with your partner so that one does the main objective while the other collects the minor ones. Both players on that team will get this achievement once it's done.

Surviving The Game 25
Complete a ranked match without ever needing to be revived.
You needs to stay alive for an entire ranked match to get this. If you know the opposing team players it will be easier to arrange a truce. Watch out for the AI running amok and sometimes just spawning right behind you and you should be fine.

* As long as you do not die yourself you will get the achievement. Thanks to xSILENTxHUNTERx for the correction.

** You can get shot to near death and then Feign Death for the entire match and it will also unlock. Thanks to martdude16 for this tip.

Retirement Savings Plan 40
Earn one billion dollars in total in ranked matches.
Earn $1,000,000,000 in ranked games online. Good teamwork and knowledge of the maps can net each player 1-2 million dollars every 10 minutes. You do the maths.

1million per 10 minutes; 1000 x 1million = 1billion
10 minutes x 1000 millions = 10000 minutes
10000 minutes / 60 minutes/hr = 166.66667 hours

One Gun is Enough 35
Win a ranked match without purchasing any additional weapons.
Do not approach any of the green highlighted weapons machine and do not buy weapons in an online match. I'm not sure if buying ammo ruins the achievement. Out-earn your opponent to win the match.

Beast with Two Fronts 20
Kill 50 enemies total in Back-to-Back.
During the scipted back-to-back sequences, kill 50 enemies. You will get this in the course of 1 playthrough.

Running Man 30
Kill 75 enemies while in the stealth mode of Overkill.
Put your AI partner to aggressive-hold and wait till the aggro meter fills up. The aggro bar on his side will fill to the max, then another darker red bar will fill inside after that, let him maintain the aggro for another 2 seconds and press 'A' to enter Stealth Overkill mode. Kill 75 enemies to get this. Not firing at all while your partner draws aggro will fill the meter quicker.

L'Abattoir 30
Kill 100 enemies while in the power mode of Overkill.
Put your AI partner to passive mode and keep firing at the enemies. You need to kill at least 1 to max the aggro meter. After maxing it, continue firing to let a darker meter fill inside the red bar. Hold it for 2 seconds once it's filled and press 'A' to enter the Power mode of Overkill. All enemies will fire at you during this time but you do 2X damage. Kill 100 enemies to get this.

Stonewall 30
Kill 30 enemies using the Riot Shield melee attack
While holding the riot shield, ask the AI to hold his position and advance yourself towards the enemy. Press R2 when close to melee them. Melee 30 to get this achievement.

Starting a Riot 30
Kill 50 enemies total in Co-op Riot Shield.
This is the only single player campaign achievement that cannot be gotten without a 2nd controller/human partner. You have to be the one behind doing the shooting while your partner holds the Riot Shield to get this. I recommend doing it on Mission 2, Afghanistan on Casual difficulty. There's a part in the level where you are in some corridors filled with gas. There's a riot shield right outside the lift you come out from. Have one player pick up the riot shield and one behind doing all the shooting. Take the left path and circle clockwise. You can easily get at least 12 kills before the shield breaks. Once it breaks, restart from checkpoint and you'll be outside the lift again. Do this 4-5 times to get this achievement.

An easier way to get the weapon achievements is to start a co-op game on the tutorial level, wait until the part where a mine tkes you down and your partner needs to heal you. DON'T LET HIM HEAL YOU. Enemies will keep spawning for you to shoot. If you run out of health you just fall over for about 2 seconds then you get back up again to keep firing. They stop spawning around 80 kills. Plus you can only do this with pistols, snipers, and assault rifles.

I was thinking the same thing today as I was going through this level. Just blow up the bridge and on your way back to the hovercraft, you can set the ai to hold passive and make your way down the steps, kill a few guys, activate overkill then kill the rest.

I dont know if this has been suggested anywhere else since im not reading 7 pages, but here it is.

Whoever wants to get this achievement "Starting a Riot" , I have a very easy solution...(if you dont have a partner).

First of all, if your like me & cant always have your "online co-op buddy" help you out, or just dont seem to have someone to do this with, i have the solution. First of all, get your 2nd controller out & load up another profile. Do some split screen action on Recruit & load up Mission 3 (the mission where you have to save Eisenhower).

1. Head up the hill with your profile & leave your 2nd player sitting down at the start, you dont need him yet. Once at the top of the hill, snipe the guy on the turret & kill whoever else is in your path, but leave everyone else alive. Move towards the building that the turrent is on top of, & you'll see a riot shield on the ground near the fork-lift or whatever it is. Go over to that barricade & wait there.. or wait behind the tent.

2. Grab your 2nd controller & run your other character up to where you are. Run over to the riot shield, pick it up & walk as close to the barricade that you can so it doesnt take any damage.

3. Grab your 1st player controller, & run up behind the '2nd player' to get in the 'riot shield mode'. You wont take any damage since they cant hit you, & your shield wont break since they cant shoot it. Simply adjust when you need to with 'player 2' & shoot everyone with your profile to get the achievement. Now since its at the start of mission 3, you just have to restart misson or check-point until it unlocks. You should honestly get at least 10-15 kills every time you do this.

I've only got 1 achievement left and it's the obvious one. Does anyone know how the stats work for this achievement?? Does it count individual money or your team's money?? And if the leaderboards reset, does it still keep track on your gamertag like the rest of the single player achievements??

Have to play ranked games & i think its only your money that counts. At the end of the round you'll see how much you earned.
