The one thing I like about your signatures is the fact that they're very clean. No real jaggies or imperfections in the renders.

Not bad. But they could all use some work.

As most people would say, check out some tutorials. I'll get you a link to our resources thread.

I don't think I should really, I've already had a few complaints about using a large x360a logo (because us commoners aren't supposed to have them, only the moderators/graphics team etc) so I'm afraid I can't. Also, if lots of people see that logo, they might think it means we're part of the x360a team or something.

Well sort of, when I contacted some of the graphics team asking them if they could provide me with a large x360a logo, they said they couldn't because it was exclusive to the x360a team only. I made this one myself, but I really shouldn't distribute it.

this is ridiculous. It's a logo for the site and you are part of the site so why shouldn't you use it? You're not using it for monetary gain or trying to start a site with that logo. And I'm pretty sure it's not copyrighted (could be wrong...)

So i say use it man - you're trying to rep the site by using it and if the mods have got a problem with that, that's kinda weak

They are quite cool, I like the pop-out effect you created, but I think the second and the fourth are kind of empty, like they miss something. You should try to fill up the blank spaces.

Well, I got a PM from Thuderstorm101 asking where I got the logo from pretty much as soon as I uploaded it as my sig. I've replied explaining that I made it myself and that I'll never give it out to anyone or use it in any sig requests, but like you said, it just shows my appreciation of the site and I'm not gaining anything from it. I'm awaiting a reply from him to see what he says, I'm guessing he's discussing it with some other moderators or staff.

The whole point of us not giving the original, hard copy of the graphics away is to stop people misusing it. If any old Tom, Dick and Harry has a copy, then who says that they won't misuse it... Do you think McDonalds just give out their source files freely? Nu uh. Same concept here.

Feel free to copy it, but at least do it accurately

Then, if you do misuse it, we haven't given you permission and we can hunt you down

Hell, they don't even give the logo out to the graphics team! Except for a crummy little 64x64 thing.

lol. Not that I'm complaining. It isn't that hard to make.

Anyway, I think it's Ash3n's logo in the first place. Though I once asked him for it and he referred me to the admins. I never got around to asking them though.

I agree they are pretty massive. Just find a mid point that 's comfortable for you. I tend to work within the 400 x 100 to 400 x 200 range (only very occasionaly because this is quite large).

Just try different sizes and see what you like.

Yeah, I know they're pretty big, but I just find it pretty hard to work on a small scale. I've been getting into using more colour blends and fills etc now as well.

And check out the new section! It's all my SOTF entries.
