For grinding Daddy WarBugs, use the T8 Battle+Pesticide on level 3:3. Just keep shooting it/blocking it with your shield and you'll be done with the level in about 15 minutes, netting ~55k every time. It's got the most bosses/ant hills/waypoints which are the biggest experience gains.

I used Pesticide mortar to get to the 3 ant hills spot quickly then only had to sit there about 10 minutes with heat seeking Rocket Launcher far away til reached 45K then finished the level to gain the remaining 20K. The whole ordeal took about 25 minutes. Thats how I got the rest needed for High Roller. But as Pants Party stated, it already is a great credit/experience boosting level as it is and playing it regular without farming and using Pesticide weapons is probally just as efficient. If you do not want to devote as much time playing, have other things to do, and let it do it's thing, you can farm the 1-1 Ant holes and get the 65K in about 1.5 hours. This is good if you're around to come back and check up on it every so often.

It takes 3.1 millions xp to earn for all Rank 8 Armors then you have to earn 8.2 millions CR to spend on all weapons for all armors only if you didn't spend any weapons. I have to buy all remaining weapons for 4.3 millions xp which takes a long time. 8.2 millions CR to spend for all weapons (Daddy Warbugs) 3.1 millions XP to earn for all armors (Lifer) Last edited by Motorexskygtr32; 07-20-2011 at 10:49 PM. |

Thank you...its really test your mental with your patience and push you on how far you went with EDFIA. So, I'm pretty much a stubborn guy and wouldn't let anything to overcome me, lol. I have a lot of free times for the summer because my 2 daughters gone with their mother for the summer. I won't see the girls until 2nd week of August and bring them back to my home. They will have 3 weeks to prepare for the school by end of August. That's why I play this game a lot and trying to finish it up before the girls come, lol! Hmm...2-5, or you could try Chapter 1 Ditchslap like I stated before. It works the best for Tactical, IMO. My opinion, 2nd anthill in 1-1 works the best for Jet because she need to be distance away from ants and has less protective armor than any characters. It took me a few tries to get it right on 3-3 with T8 Battle because some ants behind me knocked me down during the blast or not enough health laying around during 3 ant hills and wasps. I did speedrun and got 36K XP/CR in 10 minutes. Maybe I didnt do something right. I hate Wasps, sometime during the blast they would shoot the laser at my sheild and I lose it. I die from it...I freaking hate that. Pants Party, what other weapon is the best to kill spiders and ants from the anthills besides Pesticide Gun for Battle? For the Battle Armor, I have been using the "Burner" type assault rifles, it seems to take them out twice as fast as any "normal" type assault rifle. They dont hold as many rounds, but they do extra burn damage, PLUS, they cause a small explosion that will hurt anything thats right next to any enemy.

You guys seem to be boosting at tier 8 for credits, do you all have all armors at level 8? Ive been going for a while and am only on tier 7 on 1 class. Im not sure exactly what i should do, im willing to grind on a single level for credits but its going to be a complete pain to go from 1-8 on all armors.

What do you suppose is the quickest way to go about going from say 1-7, i have gone from 5-7 so far on my battle armor but the last level is freaking so much xp to get. Im gonna try boosting on 3-3 on inferno i guess. |

The reason why it takes so long time to reach Rank 8 from 7 is because it has 400,000 xp to earn. Last edited by Motorexskygtr32; 07-26-2011 at 10:20 PM. |

Yes, it is possible to do it with Rank 4 or higher. I achieved it with Battle and Tactical with Rank 4-5 on Inferno for Chapter 1 (Mission1-5) with bots. It is not impossible but doable. The reason why I did it early because its more faster and higher points to kill enemies than you can do in Normal and Hard.

What's a good anthill farming launcher for the Trooper? Seems like whatever I do, the ants keep bouncing around...
Also, if you play Remix 1-4, you can get three metal-ant hills, which generate score four times as fast.

Sticks with Remix 1-4 but watch out metal wasps in the end..they can kill you in one hit depends the difficulty. I cannot tell you which launcher until you can tell us what rank you are in for Trooper.

I just got the Daddy War Bugs achevement, and when I got tired of using the Jet, I used the Trooper. He has a ROCKET launcher, not lock-on missile launcher, that will track several targets at once. It says something about it in the description, youll have to read it, but thats what I used on Inferno.
Its a pretty powerful weapon, it does an Air-Burst, and looks like it tracks 5 or 6 targets, and does big splash damage. You dont have to worry about the AI bots stepping in front of you since you can just look straight up and fire it too. I did all PLAYING farming on 3-3, and all rubber band farming on 1-1. |

Trooper's weapons especially rocket/missiles launchers sucked. He's my least favorite armor of all armors, though. For T6, I used Norwood AR-G 8 Assault Rifle, and Dunruh NailBat d.2 Grenade Launcher. The reason why I picked this specific grenade launcher because of sticky, two shots to 1 ant is deadly and get killed easily by that. When it comes to carriers, I just use Norwood AR to shoot it down.

@Motorex: I played quite a bit with friends, and once I started focusing on grinding seriously, I only needed about 2.5 million. Which took about 2 and half days. Obviously I was getting about a million per day, and was very adamant about the timing of it.
As for the Trooper, try using the Rockets, several of them are tracking rockets, though it wont say it in the stats, it will say it in the description. Several of them (I think Nungus?) will track enemies. The missile launchers werent that good for him, so I used rockets, or his Grenade Launcher, which was very potent at all levels. |

the nuke seems to make points smaller. i killed like 4 hectors and 3 ant hills and hundreds of ants and only had like 5000 to show for it.
other than that the most points i get none boosting is like 20,000. such a slow process. must be doing something wrong. |

Using the nuke in no way lowers the points you earn, just your imagination.
You can get 36k from level 3-3 and there's always the "AFK rubberband second anthill 1-1" method to cap at 65,500. Just got my 1000 last night and I got the game on July 3rd, pretty much played nothing else but a bit of Ms. Splosion Man.

might be my imagination.
why do some of the miniboss' not drop weapons. im doing 1-4 and sometimes theres 3 wasps and they drop something as well as the hectors making 6 or so, but then other times i get like 3 drop wtf? and the wasp drop nothing and sometimes the hectors drop nothing right now im doing tactical and Im rank 4. Im doing the ant hill alone on hard but after a half hour i had like 8k only (normal 2k). TORTURE. and my weapons need 3-4 hits to kill on hard. so i give up on leveling up the characters. i think the shield on the battle armor spoiled me Last edited by TimespliTT; 08-15-2011 at 02:50 AM. |

Weapon drops are random and are only "chance to drop" - it's not a guarantee you'll get something.
Hard is not supposed to be attempted before T5, which is why Normal caps there. Your weapons are too weak to effectively fight those enemies. This is mentioned in the Road Map.

I'm now 49/50 on this game.
I thought the Survival 500 was awful but this just sucks. Why am I being made to buy shitty tier 4 shotguns that I'll never use? I'm finding blitzing through 1-2 is working well for me. Less chance of dying, end up with 20k or so. Not great but doable in under 10 mins. 3-3 takes a bit too long for my liking but I might give it another go. I wonder where this game will end up on TrueAchievements. I'm guessing somewhere around 2600TA. |

Yeah, they only frustrating thing about 3-3 is the chance to be knocked back by a spider or your shield blown away by wasps right before the grenade goes off and dying halfway through.
I gave up on actually playing after a while though and just reset 1-1 every 40 minutes while I was around the house. Got a lot of cleaning done and made the wife happy while still getting the achievement.

This is exactly what I'm doing. Only problem is that sometimes i forget to reset it. Last night I left it running for awhile and came back to over 10000 kills. Man I wish that 65,500 cap wasn't there, this would be sooooooo much easier.

Tell me about it. I had to do 1-1 aprox. 70 times in order to buy all remaining weapons which cost me over 4 millions credits. It was very tedious and felt like it is not gonna end for me but finally got it done under a week by doing that method. What I did was using Jet (Rank 8), equipped with a missile laucher (Tier 7) *5 homing missiles at once with purple electrical streaks *cant remember what name it was and a Pesticide sniper rifle for Level 1-1. I cleared everything by snipe ants in a blast including first anthill, reached a rally point then fall back to south nearby the water opposite of 2nd anthill. I sniped a few remaining ant groups until 2nd anthill popup. After 2nd anthill popped up, snipe a group of ants on your right then switched to the homing missile launcher to shoot at ant hill. (Dont aim at it, aim a little higher above of an anthill) I rubberband the RT trigger to rack up 65k then go to the rallypoint to make the mini hector appeared. Go back to the position where you rubberband your RT, snipe Hector. Once he's dead, go to the final rally point to finish the level. Its a lot easier to doing this since you can watch a movie, or do whatever you need to do around the house then come back to it. It will takes about 40 to 50 mins depends on how fast you doing it by the start of the level to 2nd anthill. (It took me 8 mins from start to 2nd ant hill) Hope this helps. 3-3 Level is a bit of problem to me because of Battle get knocked and fell by wasps or metal spiders which result a death if nuke it after. It get annoyed and forced me to start over again so wasted of my time doing that, though. Personally, this is one of best methods for Daddy Warbug and Lifer achievements. For ranks 1-7, I did mission 1:1 repeatedly because you can get the XP from playing at a higher level without dying as easily.
To reach rank 8 I played a lot of Ditchslap (1:4) REMIX!! If you are unaware, there are 2 scenarios. You will either have metal ants in the tunnel or metal spiders. Ants give 63xp, spiders 72xp. Over the course of just 400 kills, spiders would give you 28800xp, ants just 25200xp. Go with spiders because it takes the same amount of time. **Spiders spawn in the tunnel only when metal ants spawn in the dirt behind you at the very beginning. If metal spiders come walking through the buildings, I would restart. For Daddy Warbugs: mission 3:3 (using the battle/pesticide plan) you routinely get 36000ish running through quickly on 'normal campaign' in less than 11 minutes. Why don't you try REMIX?!?! In the same amount of time, you get 44400cr. *Important info: you have to get the right bug spawns. At the start, the first enemies must be metal spiders. Then many of the level's bug-waves will be regular ants (but a freaking ton of them!) If you get normal spiders digging up near you at the beginning, restart. Otherwise you'll be fighting a whole bunch of wasps for a lot fewer $$$. Even better, there are NO wasps if you do the correct remix! Last edited by AblazeSandman; 08-19-2011 at 07:55 PM. |

Chapter 1: Mission 4, Ditchslap, freezes my XBox...
I've found playing offline (if playing SOLO) on Mission 1:4, Ditchslap, is one of many ways to earn XP.
I played this stage 40-50 times. But there is a huge problem that has repeated itself frequently. THE GAME FREEZES MY XBOX. It always tends to happen when I have about 23,000XP already, and as I'm crossing the bridge. Very annoying. Not to mention my internet disconnecting for no reason on several occasions. Anyone else have their console freeze up around the same spot? I've lost well over 150,000XP because it freezes. (At least now I have all armors at Rank 8) Also, you can replay Chapter 2:4 Hectored over and over. You earn 15,000 Credits in less than 5 minutes, and it saves quickly. Less chance of dying, box freezing, etc. and losing any progress. I love most everything about playing games on the XBox 360, except its crappy console function. Is there actually a good way to idle boost the tactical armor? It doesn't seem to have any proper missiles for the 1-1 method and I am kind of stuck on this one ...
