Tier 3 Battle: Death Race Guide [QUICKER]

Hey guys, I realise that a couple of people have already uploaded this, but I feel that the route that I take can save you a precious few seconds providing you have a clean run.
Side Notes:
- When you are coming to the end of the first lap, you can drive to the right of the checkered line instead of going through it.
- Also, at the count down you can edge a bit more further than I did.
- Another thing, when in the air, steer towards the way you want to go whilst in mid air, this will direct you in that way almost immediately when landing.

I noticed if you accept the quest, then spawn your vehicle and just drive off, the check marks keep coming up, granting you an additional few seconds if you boost away to the first checkpoint.

The Afterburner relic probably helps too.

We just did it by having your co-op partner by the last 2 checkpoints you do the first lap and they wait there.
Did it with plenty of time to spare.

If you're struggling just use the spawn trick. Park your vehicle at the first check point. Walk back, start mission. When promoted "GO" re-spawn to your vehicle.

This race is a joke. Still cant do it even after watching the video and trying the car spawn thing, Have afterburner as well and still 2/3 seconds out every time, one miss jump one prick on a motorbike driving into you and you have to start again.

This is for anybody that still can't seem to do it. I did everything he did in the video(except I had a runner), and had four seconds left. This seems like the easiest way if you're by yourself. I could've even shaved a few more seconds off if I didn't crash and spin out a couple of times.

Edit: Just finished it with eight seconds left using this method. The only thing I did different was I didn't go through the tunnel. I went to the left like all of the other videos.

Edit 2: I should also mention that you don't have to go to the front to start the race. You can stand on the very tip of the bottom left corner, and it will start. That way you're a lot closer to the vehicle station. Standing there instead of the front can shave a couple seconds off of your time.

I got it (at lvl 31, woo!) a different way - I jumped onto all the freeways, and drove to the right of the starting line and the first/last checkpoints, finished with 2 seconds to spare. I'll try jumping the rock instead of onto the first freeway - looks like a good way to farm some tokens at a low level.

my buddy and I were farming for TTs.....

I parked a runner by just before 2nd checkpoint and got out. My buddy started the race and drove to the first checkpoint (then turned around and camped just before final checkpoint) - as soon as he it it I continued race from 2nd checkpoint.

I drove the remainder of the race until I hit the 2nd to last check point of 2nd lap (then turned around to go back to my original starting point) my buddy finished the race

Rinse and repeat. Not really any new info, just spelling it out for anybody wanting an explanation of a truly fast method. 20 TTs every +/- 2mins = ~hour for the 613 necessary for

lol, know what you mean there man. brings back memories of all games like this that have vehicles in them. im NEVER the driver, i cant do it...

Too bad you don't do co-op, Chickin.

My buddy and I used 2 cars and finished the Tier 3 race with 23 seconds to spare!

I tried this race on my own multiple times and twice I even finished, once with 2 seconds to spare and once with 1 second, but the game still failed the race both times. I was pretty pissed and figured I'd never get it, but 2 players works like a charm.

You don't even have to do this coop. Just add a second controller (provided you've got one) and do this split-screen.

Just get a friend. It's so easy. 45+ seconds left if you put a person at the checkpoint at the end of the tunnel.

I JUST finished tier 3 and rematch using the car spawn method, had one second left in the standard one and two seconds left in the rematch, hair pullingly bad race.

I do the exact same thing that involves any form of racing.
They put the check points there for a reason. Or ill just put the car by the checkpoints and select spawn to car.
