Community Event

Alright guys. With these servers going down in the next week I want to know what times are good for you everybody to get an event going. Instead of finding one or two people at a time if we can get 100+ online everyone will be able to knock out all the achievements without much effort.

So here's the plan. We find a date and a time period for as many people to get on as possible. I'm thinking the 13th from 4-8 PST? I want to create a roster of people who are down. Post your GT down below if you think you can make it. This is an experiment that I hope will succeed.

Will there be a site award? Most likely not, but I'm trying to get something done so we can get as many people as possible to join us.

For those who remember, this has a similar goal to the NBA Live 07 event.

I'm restricted to an hour or so because of work (I imagine I can leave my PC idle with stuff like Violent Cartographer), but I want to see if I can help out in any way. Despite having all the achievements in H2V, I want to help others get them. Problem is,

I can say with 99% certainty that I'll be on. If there's enough other people that have finished all the achievements I wouldn't mind playing just for fun too

So here's the potential plan. I'm going to get a handful of people that can write down the player's site username if they see them in a game. So we can remember who played. If you guys think another time would be better go ahead and post it.

Also, if you guys have the ability to talk to some friends or post on other forums that would be great. I'm going to try and cover TA.

Actually was able to install the game and everything and it's not working. I'll keep trying as often as I can to get it to work. There's going to be a lot of pissed off people if it's not fixed by the 15th.

I double checked and it's definitely all GFWL games, not just Halo 2. I tweeted xbox support, will hopefully get some answers.

EDIT: Took a look around, and they're staying pretty quiet about it.

A couple of us could connect last night. I managed to knock out a good portion of the achievements just in case they go down again. I still plan on playing tomorrow.

Got a few hours put into it today. Think I helped at least a few people get their 1000 hopefully.

Making a room for Rainman and Catagrather tonight while Im at work. It will change automaticaly.
