Yep, sure does. Raises your power meter and does damage to him...however, it doesn't kill him. As in, you can get him to the lowest level of damage, but you have to get the final hit on his chest.

To be honest I think this game is quite good, easy achievements and quite a fun game to play. Cant go wrong with that.

Thanks for the guide. Unfortunately I ended up having to replay it twice because I screwed up the continue on hard part when going for the other challenge related achievements. Though the second run went pretty quick since I didn't have to bother with challenges or collectibles.

Ok I'm trying to gget the challenges I missed but when I load mission find the challenge then quit its not unlocked do I need to do the entire level to keep the completed challenge

Thanks for guide. The game is severely lacking and could've been SO much more, but for $4.00 at Redbox and 1000 gs points, I dare not complain. I don't know if it's been covered in anyone else's thread, but if you beat the game on the easy or normal level and then opt to go for the new game+, after you select the hard difficulty DO NOT change it back like i did lol. You won't get the achievement for beating the game on hard that way and it forces you to replay it to complete it. Great guide though for a slightly below average game

Not that it matters for the achievements, but it appears there's another combo level after Uncanny. I am farming my kills for the last few achievements and "X-Tinction" appeared on the screen.

Would be nice if instructions for how to replay missions were added to the guide. I chose Continue instead of Load Game - Select Character and now need a second playthrough.

I'm on the hardest difficulty and I just encountered a weird but good glitch. When facing that giant robot it slowed down to a crawl and I was able to dodge every attack easily and reduce his health to half in one attack lol. The focus beam is really good at hurting him and you can't be hurt while using it.

The debris doesn't hurt you when climbing the building which is very helpful to know.

Easiest way to kill prime enforcers is to choose level 7 mutant war because there are three of these near the start of the level. Simply kill all three and quit out. Team mates may steal your kills though.

Picked this up for a tenner and it is worth every penny, was contemplating picking it up on release but bad reviews put me off. Have to say for the price its hella fun and this guide was one of my deciding factors in getting it. Fun with easy achievements and at a great price.

Like several others, I screwed up my New Game+ and started on easy again. So, if I finish the New Game+ on easy will I be given the option to try again on hard, or do I need to start a new playthrough from scratch to get the option again?

had the same issue here,i even had a half finished lvl 5 ng+(3rd play though) from i just hit contiune (on a easy game) n completed it, continue game ,selected x-treme ,quit out ,load game level 8 ,completed,n the two chevos popped n stacked
