WTF is up with this IF cheevo.
I spend 100k nearly every week on gold packs and tonight brought the usually trash premuim gold crap and had the same player 3 times in 8 packs........Leandro Damiao..
Random my arse.
When i check stats,im getting the inform players but just the normal crappy version,which are always worthless.
Also I no longer buy any of that crap special packs they put out.Just wasted 50k on 2 packs that only have players that were all shite and this is after that crap xmas 100k pack garbage.
Makes me wonder that for those of us who dont or wont spend ms points on packs,that we get our packs from a different pile to the ms points cash players.

I guess im way off base with that assumption.
Looks like we both have the same shit luck then but you maybe more than me as your the only person on my friends list who hasnt got this cheevo.But all my other friends got there IF in packs they purchased with ms points.

With fifa 12 I got the cheevo from a bronze pack which didnt contain any IF.But i played fifa 12 well late,in fact Fifa 13 was out when i completed 12.Heres to hoping that fifa 13 goes the same way and eventually just gives out the cheevo on any players regular card that used to be IF.Might have to wait till Fifa 14 comes out in September,if my disc survives that long.

Meanwhile,working on getting my 30k back up to 100k to waste on more gold premuim packs.

I got three IFs on Fifa 11 and one last year. Not sure about Fifa10. Not had one this year. All packs are bought with coins never MSP. Spent over 200k yesterday including buying five of those all player packs (I think there was a five pack limit). Then 15k packs and then when they stopped 7.5k packs.

Got three players worth more than 1k lol. Ramires 4.5k, Vermalen 2k and the LB for Real whose Portugese 1.5k. Absolutely gutted. Close to 500k down the drain now on a luck based cheevo.

That bronze player you got last year could have been a transferred player. You sure he had a previous IF card.

I presume the cheevo becomes unobtainable come September/October when TotW is only relevant to Fifa14, can anyone confirm.

In FIFA 12 the final TOTW is still available (with IF Dzeko) so it doesn't tecnically become unobtainable until the servers get closed.

The February upgrades have just been released and are pretty underwhelming (no Bale, Fellaini or Carzorla to begin with). It isn't confirmed whether pulling these will get the achievement to pop like last year.

The regular cards of IF players i keep getting is what im getting now from gold premuim packs when i check there stats online.
Last year in Fifa 12 i got the cheevo from a bronze pack i was opening for the 50 pack cheevo.No idea what player gave it to me,i just know i never had a black card inform and the cheevo popped on 9th Oct when fifa 13 was already out.
Ive spent well over 1million in game coins now,buying all special packs of 100k,25k,15k and a heap load of 7.5k gold premuims.Had 2 decent players of Balotelli and LLoris,which both sold for 40k each but thats about all.
Never seem to get any decent formation or position cards and have many duplicates.
Going to keep buying 10 packs per week,usually on a Weds night and keep fingers crossed.
This is the last cheevo for me in game and has been for a while.

Update.so ive just bought 2 more 50k special packs and 2 gold premium packs.Absolute garbage again.Got Pepe rare shiney,worth about 10k and thats it,quick discard all the rest.
I am now officially broke with a balance of 1k.

I almost feel bad about finding these knowing the plight of my fellow fifa players but I wanted to show you never loose hope.

I bought 5 of the chinese new year packs yesterday. 2 with coin (no IF), one with Fifa points (no IF) then the last 2 i bought with Fifa points - IF in each.

Now I can rest.

Only 2 of my friends play UT they both got the chievo with coins I got it in a jumbo pack bought with points so I think it's just luck mate.

Well im trying again.Im currently at just under 20k.When i get 100k + ill spend again and see.At least theres is people out there who got the cheevo on coins,a little hope,as long as it wasnt in the free packs they get from season ticket coz thats bought with ms points.

I got mine using coins, I did buy packs with fifa points of which I sold/discarded players. But most of my coins came from buy/trading for profit. I got up to 200k coins, only wanted to spend half. after spending 80k I got Agureo who I didn't sell and then I spent the rest leaving me with 100k left, I didn't want to spend more, but I'm glad I did, the next pack I opened got an IF Milner. I won't be buying another pack again, I'd rather save my coins for players. Apart from the weekly packs I've paid for.

Tonight might be a good time to get the achievement. From 6 pm UK for 23 hours there are team of the tournament players in packs, effectively doubling the chances of getting the achievement.

Just tried this again.Spent 75K on gold premuims coz of this apparent double chance to get IF.Again failed and got absolute garbage.Not 1 decent player,all shite,none that can sell and no good formation or position cards.
Will try again tomorrow when ive sold all these damm contract cards.

Ive saved up quite a bit of money on this game and am thinking of blowing it all as soon as an average TotW comes out. Do you think I should spend it all at once or open say 25 packs and then try again a different week?

The reason I ask is that I reckon more IFs get released between 6pm and half six then at any point in the week.

Like the guy above me, this bastard cheevo is killing me.

I jumped out of my seat when I got mine this morning. I've paid with msp and coins for ages and gotten nothing but got it in my free pack (season ticket) this morning. It was only an African Cup Of Nations Kabore (sp?) and its already at 200k+ with 10mins left. Not sure why its valued so highly but hang in there people there is hope!

I wouldn't care who I got. I just want the bloody cheevo. As ive said before id rather get a 76 IF that goes for discard price than Ronaldo.

I have no idea, I've been building a prem team so may pick up Rooney and Vidic.
