Which do you prefer?

Halo 3 is perfection compared to halo 4 in my opinion. 4 is a shit mix mash of transformers meets call of duty and I'm sorry I didint rent it first

Halo 3 was and will always be the best Halo or best xbox game for me, i prefer it in every way, but nobody is playing in anymore, ahhh the times playing custom games/forge in there, that was just awesome and epic.

In Reach, everybody was just playing matchmaking, that did make me pretty angry, cause normal playing is just not so fun as the weird, epic, retarded, and more typed Custom Games

I don't think Halo 3 is perfection compared to even the worst game ever. It was pretty good, overrated online, and ok campaign.

Halo 4 has a better campaign and less frustrating online.

It's been quite some time since I even played 3, so that's just going from what I remember.

Halo 3 all the way. Those double XP weekends were amazing, the maps were perfect. It was a clean and simple game if you know what I mean. There was not other bullshit like Halo 4 now has mashed into it. Halo 3, it's just you and you're gun. Halo 4 however, way too much other nonsense I think. Caters heavily to the CoD gamers too. If I wanted to play CoD I would put that CD in. I put in my Halo CD because I want to play Halo... assumed that was a common sense thing. But I guess we know what happens when we assume...

I think Halo 3 is better mainly because I enjoyed the works of Bungie more than 343. That being said I still enjoy Halo 4 greatly. The Halo with the best multi-player would be Halo 2 by far and a runner up being Halo Reach. The credit system in reach was awesome to me. I don't like the way that commendations are used to get almost all the armour in 4, but it is still more options than 3 (even though the armour you get for beating the campaign on legendary was sick in halo 3)

Not to bring back Halo 2, I still think it is the best campaign (even with the "interesting" ending) and because of that, the Halo 3 campaign was a nice follow-up. The halo 4 campaign was nice but, it felt like they (343) was trying to make something new from something old and not something new from something new.

Halo: Combat Evolved/Anniversary > Halo 2 > Halo 3: ODST > Halo 3 > Halo Wars > Halo 4 > Halo: Reach

I'd have to go with Halo 3, had a lot of good memories with my clan during that time. All I'd play is BTB and the maps were great for it, almost as good as the Halo 2 maps for that playlist. I don't really like the Halo 4 maps to be honest (In general.).

and considering that Halo 4 is 343's first Halo game, they're just getting started, so I hope they will deliver some even more epic shit with Halo 5 now.

i think that halo 4 campaign was bad and spartan ops was better. all DLC sucked and regular maps werent too good. this is just my opinion. no haters please. 343 industries put a lot of work to this game
