Yes. Especially during the weekends. If I decide to play some Dark Souls during the weekend, I usually spend at least ~80 Cracked Eye Orbs, and rarely do I invade the same person twice.

People still play this game and it is quite populated. The DLC area in particular.

Actually, for the Forest Hunter Spartan, you could isntead do with using Lightning Spears or Great Lightning Spears for that spear throwing effect

Dragon Bone Fist Master SL 200

A favorite new build of mine. What's fun about it, is that players do not run into Fist weapon players that often, so they don't know what to expect. The damage is quite shit if the weapon isn't buffed, but if your foe has 0-10 poise, you will stun-lock and kill him almost instantly and the stamina cost to swing the weapon is very small. You can say, this is build is for Mage killing exclusively, but it's also very good when using the Hornet's Ring, instead of Wolf. Luring other players into a parry is quite easy, since most of the time they will underestimate you, as soon as they see the fist weapon in play

I've had no problems fighting gankers in the forest with this build, or invading via the Blue Eye orb. The RT "shoryuken" attack is very useful, when the opponent is getting up from a backstab. About 70% chance to hit him, but you have to time it right

Probably my most favorite build so far. Very versatile, fast roll, over 2k HP, 60+ poise, hard to topple and has a very wide array of punishment to dole out. Very useful against 2vs1, 3vs1 gank squads.
