Will there be a GOTY before new Xbox?

I'm wondering if I should buy the Skyrim DLC when it's on sale again or whether I should wait and see if a GOTY edition is released being as it won so many of the awards.

Will have to wait at least until the DLCs are released for PS3 before they can release GOTY.

Thanks for the responses. I think I'll wait until after the summer and see if they release one, if not I'll grab the DLC next time it's on sale after then

American Black Friday (1 month before Christmas) it should be on sale. If not then after Christmas or like this last year Dec 31.

Even if it doesn't come out before the next Xbox, no one is forcing you to buy the new one. Personally i'm waiting a few months, just to see what people think.

Well all signs point towards a Christmas release.

Yeah I doubt I'll be getting one on release, see what deals are on around the time, what games are out on release and whether or not it's better than Sony's offering.

I really want this game, but there's so much DLC. It was actually going to buy it the other day, but got something else instead because I was wondering myself if there would ever be a GOTY edition that'll include all the DLC.

I have Morrowinds GOTY(and original),but with Oblivion i just bought all the DLC instead

And i am glad i did as all the DLC is not included with the GOTY edition of Oblivion for some reason

The Orrery
Wizards Tower
Thieves Den
Mehrunes' Razor
The Vile Lair
Spell Tomes
Fighter's Stronghold
Knights of the Nine*
Shivering Isles*

*=included on GOTY edition

Fallout 3 GOTY however,included all 5 expansion packs

Oblivion-March 2006/GOTY-Sep 2007
Fallout 3-Oct 2008/GOTY-Oct 2009
Skyrim-Nov 2011/GOTY-???

so it has already nearly been a year and a half since Skyrim's release,and you may not be guaranteed all the DLC will be included when the GOTY version is released

my advice?,pick the game up now cheap and wait for a sale on the DLC
