I had this game a couple of years ago and had the last mission to complete and COULD NOT complete it. As far as medals go, I wasn't anywhere near all of them. Or half. Maybe 1/10.

Yeah, this game was actually pretty hard the first time I played it. I had never played an AC game or a flying game on consoles before and some of those missions really kicked my ass. Looking back they seem pretty easy, though, as last year I went back and did the whole game on Ace and even got the take no damage medal during the same play-through. I guess it's just a game you have to play a bit and learn about before you can really do some of those harder missions.

Btw, The Chandelier was a real bitch and can still be if you use the SU-33 Yellow 13, that DLC plane is fast, but even on easy, a burst or two of AA fire will instantly down it.
