100% - Race question

I've been looking through this forum and cant see this posted anywhere - apologies if i've missed it.

To get the 100% achievement it says you must complete all 26 races, but nowhere does it say you have to WIN them

Do you actually have to win them for the 100% or just avoid finishing last?

You have to win them for an achievement, so you can knock out two birds with one stone. I'm not sure if you just have to complete them since I won them all first try I did them (:

Yeah I know about that achievement but I'm playing on nightmare and they are literally a nightmare to win. Am hoping I can just finish them, finish nightmare play getting 100% achievement and then go back to the races I didn't win and change the difficulty

Yup. You need to place 1st in each race to get that credit. Check your stats as you progress....you'll see.
