Server Shutdown???

My friends and I have been playing the hell outa this game for two weeks and then today for no reason the servers won't allow us to start a match. Anyone else notice this or having the same problem? I would hope they wouldn't turn off the servers without notice, especially since I am over halfway done with all my medals and my friend is literally 99% done. please respond if there is any news. thanks!

My friend says they are back up today but for how long...

Servers are still up to this day 15.05.13
