An Uninvited Guest Help

I've been following Powerman1469 guide for missable quests and have come to "An Uninvited Guest" and can't seem to trigger it. I have done all other quests for the area including the one in Witchwood (after cutting the hydras head off). I choose not to contine on with Mercedes. Do I need to continue on with this? Any info would be great thanks.

Just figured it out. You have to accept Mercedes offer to escort her before this becomes available. Simply turn around after speaking to her and head back to the inn.

Has Pablos given you the quest? If not, try sleeping at the inn.

To activate it i travelled with them to Gran Soren then went back and i was able. that worked for me. give it a try

Hello,I caught the thief but talking to Pablo does not end the quest.Is it a bug?Do not want to start a new game because of this :-(
