Extra equipment required You will need a free USB port on your Xbox360 and the game comes with a "portal of power" which allows you to use the characters in the game. If you already have skylanders, you won't need the new portal and all your old toys will still work. If you don't own the old skylanders, you will need the complete edition, which comes with a portal. Although you can get all the achievements with just the characters that come with the game, it wil be easier to find the collectables with different faction skylanders.
Walkthrough First, you want to complete the story, getting the 3 star achievement on the second level, getting the level specific achievements, and collecting hats, scrolls, ship parts, and the soul gems for tree-rex and jet vac. After that, enter the arena and get the arena achievements. Also, make sure you don't swicth skylanders often, because you can get the money and level achievements very easily.After this, you must complete the game on nightmare mode, which shouldn't take very long because the game is fairly short.
