how do you unlock the 5th ship?

after downloading the new easy mode update 2 new ships are added. How do you unlock the ship this is locked?

It is unlocked automatically for me..ive only done upto 4b, 5b is too much, and I can't get 2/3 requirements to unlock the C's, D's or 5e

And as for easy mode, well its all locked for me, and doesnt work towards achievements so is useless

Actually, I really meant the 4th ship. How do you unlock that one?

you need achieve one of the 3 requirements when finish 5-a. ( no miss, destroy 100%, no bomb).

But the 4 th ship is way too weak I suppose. I am very disappointed.

The 4th ship is unlocked by competing 5a with the 3rd ship. 3rd ship is unlocked by completing 5a with the second ship. The 5th ship is unlocked on purchase. If you aren't using auto bomb on option, try turning it on for stages 4 and 5. They are much easier this way.
