Impossible Tail help

Could really use some 10 star advice on the level Impossible Rail. As the level name suggests, I get to the part near the end with a ceiling rail that you need to get on to take the upper path to the last few stars, but I can't seem to get on it.

You have to jump at the very last second and flip very quickly to get on that rail. It took me many tries but once you time the jump and the flip just right, it works. Very finicky for sure.

It also helps to be going as fast as possible. I reset the map and hit the checkpoint going much faster, it definitely made my life easier.

I found much easier to land in the inverted rail if you jump and do a frontflip instead of a backflip.
