Madolin Dolce Requirements.

Reading from all the guides I can find available.

It says I have to inspect all 6 pillars in the Catacombs room with the chest containing Chopin's wand until I receive a message, then go back to the church and inspect the pew.

However, I've done this like 3 times.. And the pew still says "I wonder why this lamp isn't lit"

I can't light it, nor am I getting a hint about Dolce's treasure..
Is there any order of which I have to inspect the pillars?

First, Did you fight Dolce in Wah lava caves? If you didn't fight her there yet, it won't do anything.

I think you only have to look at one pillar, so if you just look at all of them, you'll be fine.

Inspect the back of the pew, I think it was about mid way along it, and it'll give you the clue you need I think it was something about her skin looking smooth, or something. Then you can talk to the guy in the cellar in baroque.

At least, that's how I'm remembering it

Actually it should be enough if you just examine all 6 pillars (any order will do) and then go to the guy in Baroque wine cellar - the answer about Dolce's skin will appear nevertheless... (I never inspected anything in the church ô_o")

But yeah I think fighting her in Wah Lava Caves before is a must...

Yeah, I inspected all 6 pillars, the pew at church.. didn't get ANY specific clue or message like all the guides said I would.
But I could still fight her in the cellar.. right. O.O

Nope no specific message... I don't see the connection either but it works...
(if you are not sure check the wine cellar before saving outside of Mandolin Church Tunnel - if the option appears simply abort the conversation and come back after saving...)

I found no reason to fight her on my first playthrough, since picking up Score Piece 20 on the second isn't really that big a problem (it disorganizes it a little bit, but no big deal)

Fighting her on the second playthrough, after leveling up (both for wahlava and baroque) makes it so much easier.

I've fought Dolce in the Wah Lava caves, but I can't seem to get a message when I inspect the pillars. Was there something else that was supposed to happen? Is there anyway of getting the note in the pew without the reading the messages on the pillars?
