Photos and Voice Commands

I've been looking forward to this "game" after I saw that hilarious giant bomb video, but now that I have it downloaded I'm having some issues. I played for about 30 min and no photos were taken and there is no option for the photo booth. ( I.e. the guy in the bottom left corner who takes you to photo edit isn't there) plus, none of the voice commands from the giant bomb video seem to be working for me. I have all the activities unlocked. Is there some kind of options screen I'm missing or did this stuff get cut from the final version?

Update: I uninstalled and re-installed and that seemed to work. Weird
