Achievement Guide and Road Map (1750)

I'm curious. Can you re-up again after you re-up twice for the achievements or does it freeze you the last time?

I just spent 9 hours going through the campaign on casual with both my xboxes to get the 4 player co-op done. Remember that part where you have to run down the tunnel and get off the tracks before the train comes at you? That's a really hairy spot for 1 person with 4 controllers because if anyone dies, it resets. I managed to do it by going into that section without the silverback to get in my way. I killed off the 3 or 4 guards. Then I tied the left sticks on the other 3 controllers forward all the way so they'd walk full speed. Got them all facing the gate and did the roadie run past them after hitting the switch. Got Marcus safe and quickly pointed the other controllers into safety. I thought I was screwed there, but I made it work after a few tries and restarting the chapter once. The spot where you have to run after disabling the generator thankfully doesn't require everyone to run. Just run like hell with your main and get past the boomer.

Too bad I can't do RAAM's Shadow cause the second box doesn't have it. lol

you should have just joined random games online. Its how I got most of mine plus if you are at the end of the chapter it still counts it

I've never had good experience playing with randoms, and I have no desire to do so. I need to get these other goddamn achievements that require 4 and 5 people done, and it's pissing me off.

hey viper a tip for the 5 player achievements you only actually need 3 as long as 2 players have guests logged in

I pretty much gave up on the onyx medals, had the game since day 1 of it's release and it just broke my will...plan on re-uping for the second time and then i'm out for gears of war 3 achievements.

For what it's worth, you can do 1-50 on The Slab solo for the Fenix Rising horde achievement. I did it on casual with Vampire, Infinite Ammo, and Super Reload. Just go outside to the exercise yard and put your back to the post on either side. The only time I really died was when they stuck me with a Lambent Zerker. I actually killed a corpser with a ticker at one point. lol

You dont need 12 months to do Socialite...

No, it only resets your rank.

so here's a question, for the 4 player co op achievement, will it still pop if some levels are with only 2 or 3 people and the rest AI as long as your in a public arcade game? or do you have to beat every single chapter with 4 active players? because i'm having the worst time with people dropping out of the game

You need 4 people. Just find another person with another controller and do it that way
