Servers?
I haven't played this online in years are servers still up, or does anyone still play it? If so I'll go dust my copy off.

I saw a youtube video with clips from CoD2 a few months ago so yeah, it should still be up. This isn't EA we're talking about.

That doesn't mean the servers are still online, I upload Halo 3 videos all the time and I haven't play in 2 years that's just how many I recorded.

All the Call Of Duty games don't run on dedicated servers. They use a P2P system (Peer2Peer) so aslong as people are still playing you will find games.

Online is definitely still up, I have a guy on my friends list who still plays CoD2 nearly every day. Also, as mentioned above, CoD games don't use dedicated servers on consoles, so as long as Xbox LIVE is still up, these games will be, too.

I finally found a copy again at work for 4.99$ and snatched that up so fast! I'm glad to hear the servers are still up because I used to play this constantly and wanted to jump back on it asap and relive the memories.

There are only a few people on from the last time I checked. Snipers seemed Overpowered.
