Can't beat the final boss, any tips?

I've only got 3 potions which are my only health restoring items. When I get the boss's health down, he floats around in the air and spams a lightning attack which does huge damage and seems to be impossible to avoid. I've read that Slow Time helps, but I missed that spell. For me to get it, I would have to replay an earlier a level. But there is a glitch that wipes your achievement progress if you replay levels before completing the game. So it looks I'm screwed

Did you guys beat the boss without Slow Time? If so, how?

I went back to an earlier level and got the Slow Time spell. I think the boss is pretty much impossible without it. Actually did this a while ago but I forgot to post about it.

If you stock up on the root of ginseng potion, you can just spam the meteor attack and kill him with ease.

For the final boss use the Meteor Shower spell. Also, stock up/create Flask of Strong Ginseng potion (to refill you KI energy) and Health potions (if you get hit by the enemies or get hit by the boss while he is in midair).
