DLC finally coming?

On PS3Trophies, DLC trophies for Rage were discovered recently. The DLC is called The Scorchers. Does that mean that it'll come soon?

I hope so as well. I remember that said they were really going to give that game support and it just seemed they forgot about it. I'm looking forward to that DLC as well.

I just hope the new difficulty isn't a whole new playthrough. I was having fun early in the game, but i slowly got tired of playing it.

Seems like it is a full play through from the description "Finish the Campaign on Ultra Nightmare difficulty". Also seems like 2 more luck based mini game achievements.

It'll have have 10 achievements, PS3T.org had the game updated with 10 trophies, 1 silver and 9 bronze, hope that on the xbox it's 250G but now a days almost no developer gives that much Gamerscore in a DLC... we must wait until they are released, though I am very excited for this DLC, can't wait to get it

I really enjoyed the game, but have no desire to play through the entire thing again...especially since I have a 100% complete file. Here's to hoping you can switch the difficulty at the end...

What I am wondering most is will this be in the main game as a 'go here, do this' or is it a separate add-on and will it work the way co-op does where you just begin it at a certain point and go from there? Hope it works into the main game and can access it at any point.

I need to go back and re-do the game because I think I deleted my 100% file.

well nightmare was a little easy but ultra nightmare sounds pretty hard and i do believe this is going to mean beat the game on cuz it would have said something about beating the dlc and that just sucks.

I'm 99.99% sure you'll need to play the entire game over again on Ultra Nightmare. The Scorchers DLC integrates itself into the campaign as if it were any of the vanilla clans as opposed to a sectioned off expansion.

Well as long as they don't take away our ability to save as much as possible when we want, it won't be much harder unless we die in like one hit. Hopefully the flower trick will still remain, being able to max your inventory of pop rockets at the very beginning of the game.

Can anyone even get this game to work now?

I mean I played it last night & installed the update as I knew the DLC was coming out and it worked fine.

I've downloaded the DLC today and now I can't even play the game anymore.

New game, Load game, Continue Campaign.... nothing works. I even tried going to Scenario Selection and loading a level that way but that doesn't work either.

When I say it doesn't work, the screen goes black, I get that little spinning wingstick at the bottom of the screen and then my xbox completely freezes.

Anyone else having similar problems?

Working fine for me. Now if only I could find out where the entrance to the dlc is. It says it's in some cave but I'm back in Subway Town with nowhere to go.

Edit: Found it. It's on the first disc. You have to travel back to Wellspring. I changed the difficulty to the new one. Hopefully you can just beat the DLC on it and get the cheevo without having to play the whole game again.

Did you start from the beginning?

For anyone who's having similar problems I had, I cleared my cache & manually removed the update from my hard drive.

Loaded the game back up, installed update and the game's running fine now.

Maybe the latest update has to be installed after the DLC. I don't know, seems weird, just letting you guys know what worked for me as I've been messing around with this for over an hour! lol

It doesn't. Just beat the DLC and the achievement for Ultra Nightmare didn't pop. I have one last thing to try though. For some reason my game has the final mission as not completed even though I completed it months ago. I'm going to try and run through that mission as a last ditch effort before starting the game over.

Edit: Didn't work. Gonna have to play through the game again.
