How many times can you do this damn mission? I've done it about 10 times so far and it keeps popping up with an exclamation point. On the other hand it is pretty good for picking up Moxxi's pictures. I think I'm up to 7-8 already.

Ya I'm wondering the same thing because this will effect the side mission achievement right ? And I haven't picked ups Dan pic yet lol how do you know you have any or picked up any ?

The pictures are a big ass purple picture item on the ground. You'll know it when you see it. They drop randomly from enemies. As for the side mission, I would assume it counts towards the achievement. I'm gonna leave it for the end though just in case.

I found it always to be a bad-ass that dropped a picture every 3rd time I completed the side-mission

I got the side mission achievement before I went to bed earlier and can confirm that you need to do it only 3 times. When it gets to the rematch quest, it should no longer be in your quest log if you don't accept it. There are two other missions like this one as well.

Is this the best way to get portraits? It's the last thing I need in this DLC and wanna just grind it out to finish up.

I would recommend it. I'm just about done with everything and I'm only up to 8, out of those 8 I think I got 2-3 from this mission alone.

The Tier 3 Battle missions are repeatable unlimited amount of times, just to farm Torgue's Tokens

After completing all the quests, (main and side) I'm farming the bar fights and haven't seen a single picture drop in about 10 runs now. This is awesome.

I found it slightly easier without activating the mission, the sacrifices are all there. Also, Breath of Terramorpheous makes the Bar hilariously quick.

You just have bad luck. I found most of my pictures outside in the Beat down. Yes, they continue to spawn, I'd be livid right now if they didn't.

Also, sometimes, the frames appear to be empty, or blank. Not sure if it is just a cosmetic glitch. But some are reporting the achievement not unlocking at 10 and this may be the cause of it. So if you see a blank frame, you might not want to count it toward you total, to save a little frustration. And if you are doing a brawl in the bar, exit the area and come back before trying to pick things up. The bodies disappear and makes it easier to see the stuff laying around. I can also confirm I only saw them drop from a baddass enemy.

I think you may be right about the blank frame. I know for a fact that I have gotten at least ten now, but some of those were blank frames.
