XP Limit reached?" WTF?

So basically I hit level 24 yesterday and it says I hit my XP limit and cant gain any more xp. WTF? They are punishing us for playing the game? I played about 25 games yesterday and I hear there are daily XP limits.

And yeah...there are a few threads around complaining about this already. It's pretty stupid.

CoD also takes longer to rank up and wants you to ding over 200 times. you can keep that stale game.

Taking longer to rank up is a good thing...ranking up to quickly kills replay value.

After 10 hours in 1 day I don't think anyone should be doing that...there's enjoying games and not seeing daylight

I don't feel that it is their place to decide how much we can play.

I mean, if they are going to sell us expensive crack in a collector's pipe, they should at least let us smoke it.

I got XP limit reached at about 11.50, played another game just after midnight and XP counted again. Might be the reset point.

Probably a limit per day I know if you got too much on reach in 1 day it would say you hit the limit probably so people can't cheat

I guess they have a daily limit to stop people boosting too far ahead of everyone else (not that it will matter because there will always be new people starting that have lower xp…)

The whole point of xp caps is to prevent people exploiting the game to get easy xp. Instead of bothering to fix those exploits they simply do this which sucks...

I think personally it's a good thing. I mean it's not like you can only play for an hour and the xp limit is reached. It'll take around 7 hours maybe longer which is more than enough halo MP for one day. Hey, here's a crazy thought and I'm just putting it out there, why not just play the game because it's fun instead of crying that the xp has stopped for the day.

So now you're moaning about people moaning?
And no... you're now trying to defend them for not taking the time to figure out how to stop boosters/cheaters by punishing everyone with an xp limit. People enjoy playing long sessions...playing to unlock things...those people shouldn't have to be capped because the developer is lazy. And like mentioned above...it takes far less than 7 hours to reach the cap.

I've got 200 games worth of double XP banked so I put in a full 9 hour day at work and still hit the cap too. Please remember we're on a site dedicated to worthless achievement points. Thanks.
