I am attempted to do a local match with two controllers to get the achievements for turning all tiles to 1 element type and the one for finishing with a deck of one type and having 10k mana. Did not work. You can set small local matches as a way to get cards for your deck though.

These have been unlocking after winning some story modes.

Alright guys looks like achievements can be unlocked in player matches. My advice is to set the win limit to 1000 to speed up your boosting.

When they mean Blue/Red/Green/Yellow/ they mean ALL, no items/spells i-i.

you cannot do this during an online match, as the pants party and i found out the hard way after wasting about 30 mins

Actually the easiest way to do the survey ach is to play santana in a versus match w/ all morph lands against the element specific enemy and play the same color he does. For the kin ach you can still have items and spells.

it also seems like you cant do the creature specific achievements in an online battle(red cap 300/300). another 30 mins wasted!

I tried to do a versus battle standard everything against an AI opponent and I still did not get Surveyor of Fire.

I have done this twice in a row now and it will not unlock my achievement. Am I missing something?

Are you playing against story characters.

Yes, The achievements will only unlock against story characters. Pick an opponent that shares the same color as the one you wish to cover the board with.
