It has been four years since John went into cryosleep (Halo 3). Awoken and ready to fight, John and Cortana must uncover the many secrets & technology the ancient forerunner planet "Requiem" holds. The Campaign achievements are straight forward and as always, Mission Select is available. There are 7 Terminals you must find and access and skulls are available for use right from the start. A Xbox LIVE Gold Account is required for the Multiplayer and the new gametypes Spartan Ops and War Games. Each week a new Chapter/Episode for Spartan Ops will be available to download. Installation Halo 4 is shipped with 2 discs. The second disc must be installed (4GB) in order to play the Multiplayer. Insert Disc 2, launch the game and follow the instructions. Upon completion, eject the disc and insert Disc 1. You no longer have need for Disc 2. Campaign Co-op Playthrough on Heroic 12 for 190 This playthrough will be done Cooperatively with another player (Online or Local) on Heroic to specifically unlock Bromageddon and Bropocalypse. You may choose to play on Legendary to also unlock The Legend of 117 but you will naturally unlock this during your Solo Legendary Playthrough. See The Legend of 117 for tips if you choose Legendary for this playthrough. Halo 4 allows up to 4 players playing Co-op at a time. Find partners/buddies in the Achievement Trading Thread. Campaign Terminals, Skulls, & Mission Specifics 11 for 235 Upon completion of the Campaign you are able to replay every Mission on any Difficulty. Choose a Mission and set the difficulty to Easy unless specified otherwise. • Terminals - There are a total of 7 Terminals you must find/access. Please see Terminus achievement description for Terminal locations. Find one for Contact the Domain, and find all for Terminus. Campaign Solo Playthrough on Legendary 2 for 160 This playthrough will be done Solo on Legendary. You cannot do any part of this playthrough with another player either Online or Locally. Sucessful completion of this difficult playthough unlocks Lone Wolf Legend and The Legend of 117. See the Roadmap item Difficulties for extra info. See the Guide achievement description for Lone Wolf Legend for tips. Infinity (Multiplayer) 15 for 160 The Infinity consists of Spartan Ops and War Games. You will have the option to customize your Spartan IV within the Infinity. Your Spartan IV Ranks up from the points you earn in both game modes. • War Games - Competitive Halo Multiplayer gameplay. Infinity :: Spartan Ops 9 for 255 This is a 10 week long Episodic game mode that takes place chronologically 6 months after the events of Halo 4. Spartan Ops allows up to 4 player co-op & you have the option of matchmaking if you are solo. The first 5 Episodes have achievements. Each week on Mondays at 6 am (Eastern US, GMT -5) there will be a FREE streaming Spartan Ops Episode available to watch, followed by 5 Chapters of gameplay. Please see the Infinity :: Spartan Ops Info and Discussion thread for more info as to when new Episodes are available and which achievements are currently obtainable. Difficulties The difficulties are Easy, Normal, Heroic, Legendary and the achievements are stackable, meaning unlocking The Legend of 117 unlocks Wake up John and I Need a Hero. On Easy difficulty, it is possible to unlock the 'Completed Mission...' achievements (Dawn, Requiem, Forerunner, ...) but you will not unlock a 'Completed the Campaign...' achievement on Easy. Changing difficulty to from Heroic to Legendary on Mission 8 in hopes to unlock The Legend of 117 or Lonewolf Legend will NOT work (cheating). In order to unlock a 'Completed the Campaign...' achievement on a specific difficulty you must NOT change the difficulty settings at any point during that entire playthrough. In order to unlock all the campaign's 'Difficulty' achievements you must complete 2 playthroughs. One Cooperatively on Heroic, and one Solo on Legendary. A word about playing Co-op and Solo playthroughs at the same time. "Both solo and co-op playthroughs have their own save data. As long as you reach a checkpoint in solo, making sure to save and quit after, it'll stamp that progress. Start a lobby with a friend, and you'll see 'Start Co-op Campaign'. Modify the options to your liking, start the game then back out. Return to the Campaign menu with no other players, and everything should be as it was on your solo playthrough." * Clueless * Credits: hoshinosenshi for the Solo/Co-op playthrough clarification. --Special Thanks!-- Nozza x360a for the stellar banner! and all his help along the way! Cheers Noz!Maka for offering me use of his amazing video guides! Many, many Thanks!! ---------------------------

Completed any Campaign mission with 3 or more Skulls on Heroic or harder. Campaign related. Online not required. Must be obtained on Heroic+. Use 'Mission Select' after initial Campaign playthrough if missed. Skulls are now available right from the start. Complete a Mission either Solo or Cooperatively with the following Silver Skulls turned on. Mission 1 'Dawn' is a fine choice for attempting this.
Completed any Campaign mission cooperatively on Heroic or harder. Campaign related. Online not required. Must be obtained on Heroic+. Use 'Mission Select' after initial Campaign playthrough if missed. Complete a Mission Cooperatively. This should unlock naturally during your first playthrough upon completion of Mission 1 'Dawn'. Found a Terminal in the Campaign. Campaign related. Online not required. Can be obtained on Easy+. Use 'Mission Select' after initial Campaign playthrough if missed. Find your first Terminal either Solo or Cooperatively. The earliest Terminal to find is 'Requiem' found on Mission 2 'Requiem'. See Terminus for a video clip of this and all the Terminals locations in the Campaign. Found all of the Terminals in the Campaign. Campaign related. Online not required. Can be obtained on Easy+. Use 'Mission Select' after initial Campaign playthrough if missed. Find all the Terminals either Solo or Cooperatively. Hold to download Terminal video to be able to watch on Waypoint at a later time. Note: Finding the last one unlocks the achievement, you do not need to watch them. Spoilers!: Spoilers within the video and text description. View at own discretion. * Clueless * Credits: Maka for the video guide and text description. Found and accessed Chief's record in mission 1. Campaign Mission 1 'Dawn' specific. Online not required. Can be obtained on Easy+. Use 'Mission Select' after initial Campaign playthrough if missed. The Chief's record can be found down a ramp on your left after Cortana uploads herself into the chip that you insert into your helmet. Press to access it.Do NOT head into the next room to touch the control panel before finding the record. It glitches the achievement for some reason. Glitchy: Can be glitchy! The Fix: Restart the level. Next time don't touch the control panel and it should unlock. * Clueless * Credits: Plue for the video clip. Got significant air in the Warthog at midnight in mission 2. Campaign Mission 2 'Requiem' specific. Online not required. Can be obtained on Easy+. Use 'Mission Select' after initial Campaign playthrough if missed. Be the driver in a Warthog and achieve significant air when your console time is at 12:00 am. Only the Driver will unlock the achievement. It's been reported that the achievement may take a couple seconds to unlock. If 12:00 am has passed you can alter the console's time by either methods
"Rush through the start of the mission (no enemies), until you reach the Warthog. Press your 360 Guide Button and wait for the time to hit 12pm (midnight). Drive the Warthog down the dirt track for about 20 seconds until you reach a destroyed pipe. Blast your way through it and at the end you'll hit a jump. If done at the right time, the achievement will unlock during mid-air." * Clueless * Credits: Nozza x360a & lifeexpectancy for this description; Gackt and XenixF47 for their helpful info; Maka for the video guide.

Carried a UNSC weapon all the way through mission 3 on Heroic or harder. Campaign Mission 3 'Forerunner' specific. Online not required. Must be obtained on Heroic+. Use 'Mission Select' after initial Campaign playthrough if missed. You start out with 2 UNSC weapons
Note: If playing on Heroic Cooperatively, you mustn't die. You will not respawn with a UNSC weapon. Unless your buddy is willing to 'Revert to Last Save' every time one of you die, your best bet is to play this one Solo, or play it Safe if you must play it Co-op. Completed mission 4 without one preventable Marine death on Heroic or harder. Campaign Mission 4 'Infinity' specific. Online not required. Must be obtained on Heroic+. Use 'Mission Select' to after initial Campaign playthrough if missed. Easiest if done Cooperatively. There are a total of 6 UNSC Marines that must survive. 2 Marines - join you after your encounter with Commander Laskey. 4 Marines - are fighting Crawlers, Watchers, Knights at the base of a hill. You can start at 'Rally Point Bravo' if you've completed the level already. Use ranged weapons when you can to keep a distance between the Marines and the Promethean Crawlers, Knights and Watchers. If your Marines charge forward, try to keep yourself in front of your Marines to keep the enemy fire focused on you. You will want to take out any Promethean Knights, Watcher and Turrets ASAP from afar, they do the most damage vs your Marines. You will find turrets scattered throughout the area thereafter that are helpful when waiting for Cortana to unlock the hatch. Once she unlocks it, retrieve her chip and the achievement will unlock. Note: If a Marine dies, you are able to 'Revert to Last Save' as much as you please, the achievement will still unlock. If you happen to get a save checkpoint while one is dead, you must restart the level (back to 'Rally Point Bravo') In Mission 5, steal a Wraith and use it to kill at least four enemy Wraiths on Heroic or harder. Campaign Mission 5 'Reclaimer' specific. Online not required. Must be obtained on Heroic+. Use 'Mission Select' after initial Campaign playthrough if missed. The easiest way to steal a Wraith is to kill the gunner from a safe distance, and emp blast it with the charged Plasma Pistol shot (hold and release). While it is temporary disabled, you must go along side it press to steal it. Make sure you are Holding to 'Operate Plasma Cannon'. This will kick out the 'Wraith Operator' and you must shoot him. Then you can Hold along side it to 'Operate Wraith'.Now use it to destroy 4 other Wraiths. The trick is to keep moving & dodging the enemy Wraith's plasma attack while staying a safe distance from them, especially their short/mid ranged gunner's attack. There are a total of 8 Wraiths in the level. In Mission 6, trick or force a Hunter to fall to his demise. Campaign Mission 6 'Shutdown' specific. Online not required. Can be obtained on Easy+. Use 'Mission Select' after initial Campaign playthrough if missed. There are two Hunters found after Rally Point Delta that you can lure into charging you. Jump/Jetpack out of the way at the last moment and one will fall to his demise. * Clueless * Credits: Maka for the video guide. In Mission 7, in solo Campaign, take out both Hunters using only the Sticky Detonator. Campaign Mission 7 'Composer' specific. Online not required. Can be obtained on Easy+. Use 'Mission Select' after initial Campaign playthrough if missed. Kill both Hunters using only the Sticky Detonator while playing Solo. A Sticky Detonator is acquired in a weapon cabinet in the far left corner in the lab where the two Hunters are wrecking havoc. A second Sticky Detonator is found within the small white room within this lab. It is a remotely detonated weapon. Press to fire a sticky onto a Hunter. The sticky will only explode when you press a second time. You have 5 rounds in the Sticky Detonator, so play this level on Easy because it will take two Sticks to kill each one. Pick up a second round of ammo if you are playing on a higher difficulty.* Clueless * Credits: Hishoa for his helpful info; NeedToAchieve & Plasma SKX for their video guide. In Mission 8, kill 3 Crawlers in one hit with the Gravity Hammer. Campaign Mission 8 'Midnight' specific. Online not required. Can be obtained on Easy+. Use 'Mission Select' after initial Campaign playthrough if missed. The Hammer is acquired in an armoury room shortly after Rally Point Bravo. Crawlers are the dog looking beasts with orange flame heads. Wait until many traverse the bridge to try to attack you at once, and kill 3 with one swing of the Gravity Hammer. If you wait/survive long enough there will be swarms of them to smash. Glitchy: Can be glitchy. The Fix: Just keep at it until it unlocks. * Clueless * Credits: NeedToAchieve & Plasma SKX for their video guide.

Save at least one Marine in Episode 2 'Artifact', Chapter 3 'Hacksaw' either Solo or Cooperatively. This is very easy to do online Cooperatively with 3 other players. There are about 4 Marines to protect. If he sees you, run away and hide until he gives up and walks back to his normal spot and try again. * Clueless * Credits: cheevo360 for this description; Maka for his video guide. Completed Chapter 4, Episode 5 of Spartan Ops without losing a generator on Heroic or harder. Infinity Multiplayer :: Spartan Ops related. Online Required. Must be obtained on Heroic+. Don't lose a generator during Episode 5 'Memento Mori', Chapter 4 'The Cauldron Base' either Solo or Cooperatively. There are 2 generators you must protect. If you are playing Co-op with 4 players you will spawn with 2 Warthogs at the start of the level. If you are playing Co-op with 2 players, you will spawn with Mantis at the start of the level. Using the Mantis to protect the generators is reported to be the easier method. Get in the vehicle of your choice and use it to kill the enemies up until you reach the generators. Position your vehicles between or around each generator to protect the one that will be attacked (the side the covenant is dropped off on, that generator is usually attacked). There are also stationary turrets located above each generator if you need extra firepower. A warthog tactic that works (3+) - Position the Gauss Warthog between the generators. Have the second Warthog be Spartan driven with 2 marines (one with rockets). Use this Warthog to ambush the Covenant after each time they are dropped off. Your marine with rockets will usually take care of the Phantom's plasma gun, and large groups of Grunts. Drive back and forth under the bridge and attack the Covenant from behind as they push toward each generator. Repeat if unsuccessful. In Ch 1, Ep 5 of Spartan Ops survived the enemy assault during the defense on Normal or harder. Infinity Multiplayer :: Spartan Ops related. Online Required. Must be obtained on Heroic+. Survive the assault during Episode 5 'Memento Mori', Chapter 1 'Spartan Miller' either Solo or Cooperatively.
After surviving the assault, and protecting at least one sensor beam, the achievement should unlock. Then you may activate the final orange switch to open the portal for the final jump. Credit: Maka for his video guide.

You might want to look at the profile again.
![]() This is great. While I personally am in no rush for the achievements, it's great to see someone who actually posts around the forums regularly, contribute this and not one of the random members who only post videos and ONLY do it so their videos can be used in a guide. This will come in handy in the next few weeks. Thanks to all who is apart of it.

He prob had the guide made before the game even came out. I know I've had mine in a word doc 99% complete since last week since all the achievements are self-explanatory except for the chapter-specific ones and a couple Spartan Ops ones. I just was waiting till midnight MY time to put mine back up since it got taken down and add in all the youtube vids and the last couple descriptions, but seeing as this one is just fine there's no reason to have two on x360a. I'll stick with my walkthrough on TA. Good work OP.

FYI for midnight launch you can change your clock and still do it ONLINE for the datestamp. Just change your timezone to one that's about to strike midnight so you can stay on live and put a timestamp on the achievement.

Edited it. Nope, no skulls to find in the campaign only terminals. Note that you can't watch the clips in game, you must 'download' them in game to unlock them for viewing in Waypoint. I believe they ran out of disk space. Cheers!

They mentioned a few weeks ago about the terminals being accessed via waypoint only, due to time constraints in including them on disc. Kinda pissed me off a little because 343i did such a good job with anniversary's terminals (would have been nice in months or even years to come to give the game a playthrough to view the terminals & cutscenes. I'd have liked to have seen Skull collecting included as well, just makes it fun to see how long it goes before someone finds them all, or find the trick to make them appear like H3's rings. Anyhow thanks fella for the hard work, damn wish my game had come on damned time.

Hey, I've made video guides for this game. I will updated this playlist with the video as they are released. I try my best to get good quality and commentary in there.
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...ature=view_all Also, if you want to merge instead of having two guides, please respond to my PM.
