Switching Between War and Iron for Two Man Army

I couldn't even tell you how I got the first achievement for playing both. Could someone explain how this is done? I've tried replaying as War Machine (three times, actually), so I'm guessing you have to switch within the mission. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: *facepalm* I decided to play as Iron Man again and it unlocked. Bah.
