Brawler Club Challenge: Rope Beater
Anyone face this guy yet? He is located in Boston. I've attempted this guy a couple of times now, but I'm unable to do any damage, I'm also unable to counter, disarm, throw, or break his defence. Anyone have a clue on how to beat him.

I kinda cheated against this guy and busted out my knives. As long as the finishing blow is with your fists it still counts

Just read the description of the enemies in the menu. The rope beater doesn't pay attention to his environment, which means you can counter him near breakable objects.

shot him twice in the face with pistol than countered near barrel

It was easier to cut him down with the sword then love tap him for a victory.

Use your Assassins
If you active your assassin call on bodyguard before you go to do the challenge they will come into the challenge with you and distract him while you go to work on him without having to even touch a weapon. On the downside he took out 3 of my 5 assassins while doing the challenge.
