1,500,000km Achievement?!?

If you gather all the matter in our solar system it would not even be close to 1,500,000 km diameter.

The sun is only 1,391,980 km.

How in game they are going to accomplish this?

I am curious to how you will make your Katamari bigger than earth. Trailers I've seen show up to rolling up continents.

I dunno, but We Love Katamari had the level where you roll up the solar system, including all the other Katamari you already rolled up, maybe it has something to do with that?

Yeah. One of the final levels has you rolling up small items, then stuff in town, then rolling up buildings, then landmarks, then pieces of miscellaneous land, then it zooms out and you start picking up cities and pieces of continents and eventually the Katamari starts floating around in space and you can roll into your created planets, satelite, moon, sun and a few comets as well as a ton of random larger stars hidden amongst the crowded starry background.

Here's a helpful tip, you have to end that level by plugging the black hole. Waiting until the end of the timer does nothing. It's a poorly implemented concept, since the King of the Cosmos goes balistic on you when you go near the black hole, even though he tells you to plug it, you kind of assume he'll do it after your time is up and you're done rolling. It seems like you would lose automatically if you were to touch it before the timer is out, when in fact that's your goal.

Edit: Also, despite this level, I only got to around 990,000 km. It could be, that the "Download stages" part of the achievement means that you'll have to use downloaded content to get the achievement.

Is there even any d/l content for it? I checked and nothing. I guess they might release it later on?

As for this, you can do it on the Uranus stage. I couldn't get it though but I was damn close. I ate up all the stars and nothing. You can built as much as you can because once you collect all the King's memories, you can determine to stop or not. I tried it this morning but couldn't reach 15, I almost did though.

That achievement required the DLC, it says so right in the description. The DLC isn't out yet.

Yeah that damn level almost had me throwing my controller. When you get out to space the king says: "I'll give you two more minutes, get your katamari as big as possible and then plug up the black hole. The only problem with this is that the king says don't go toward the black hole or you will lose, and he precedes to yell at you everytime you even come close to the black hole. Then the timer hits zero, and I think that hey my 560,000km katamari is going to be a great finish, but the great and all powerful king says NO you FAILED!!!!!!!!! That katamari isn't in the black hole like it is spoused to be. Now I have to start that level all over again.

So my suggestion to you is head toward that black hole at some point and get sucked in. Now I haven't done this yet, maybe somebody that has completed this level. Can give us some in site as to when you should get sucked in(at what size Katamari)......

Once you have the right size if you look at the size of your katamari, then follow the arrow down it will tell you to fill the blackhole, simple enough.

It says "fill the black hole" the entire level, including when you're still on Earth. I've heard some people have said 750,000km was about right to plug the hole, and at a much larger size, you can even roll up the hole (O_O) I was at just under 1 million, and ran out of time trying to find the hole. Such a pain. Btw, anyone know if you can roll up the Queen in that level?

Edit: It doesn't the first time, but on replays it does. I ran through it 3 times last night, and just remembered it being there, my bad.

Edit again: Apparently that was the king floating around out there. Whatever.

So on the Note of this being DLC for a couple of the achievements, Does anyone know when it's supposed to be released?

Not sure if you can roll up the Queen in the "Plug the Black Hole" level (I was almost out of time and couldn't grab the royal family, yet, so just finished the level), but on the "Build Uranus" level, if you keep rolling even after the King has all his memories, you can eventually get back to outer space and roll all of it up, thus adding Papa, the Queen, and the Black Hole to your collection.

I assume so. I did it for the Blue Dragon "New Game +" mode and it worked fine. But, I heard it will be available on the 25th (Thursday), so I can wait... still got 3% of the collection to find until then.

You have to replay levels until you have 10 katamaris of each stage. That should get you the achievement.

Take the advice of the post right above yours, it will help immensely.

The trick is that you need to make multiple Katamaris for each stage (don't turn them into stardust) and once you have many stages with multiple planets, you'll be able to get this achievement no problem.
